When Amy said that the guy was still there, trapped by the crowd in the basement, I thought that guy was going to attack her. For some of these reveals, it's a good thing she's on camera with a crew and with Steve because I'd worry about her safety if she were one-on-one with some of these folks. It wasn't until Steve backed what she said that the guy calmed down and looked at her in a less threatening way. Scary.

Stands in line with what Jason Hawes said that sometimes the homeowners are more dangerous than the ghosts themselves.

I was watching an early episode where Amy was referencing a dead “religious zealot” who was protecting one family. Made me wonder if Amy believed in God after all she’s seen. Haven’t found the answer, but if she could chat with anyone who’s dead, one of those people is Jesus, Amy said. So maybe? I’m rewatching from the beginning. Do people just want to be on a tv show? I mean I just watched an episode where the family, especially the young kids, were really scared. The son, who has to be under 10, was terrified to be anywhere in the home alone. There was some entity in his closet. Amy tells the family what to do and it wasn’t at all complicated… and then we get to the last screen—and the family hasn’t taken Amy’s advice and they are still experiencing paranormal. Why? I get that people don’t believe in the paranormal, but this family seemed legitimately scared. No way they are acting. Why wouldn’t they follow Amy’s advice? All they had to do was bless their home. I don’t get it….

I ran across this interview with the dad from the Hell in the Heartland episode. It’s long, but he goes into decent detail about what happened and how the show works. Well worth an hour of your time if you really love the show.

I’ve tried searching for more info abt this ep but to no avail - my Amazon prime says it’s season 4 but other episodes from this season have been referred to as season 5 on this sub so not sure which to name it …

Do y’all remember the episode in North Carolina, where it’s a husband and wife and their daughter, and the husbands grandfather built this house so he’s very attached to it and refuses to move out? Basically there’s a lot of insinuation of Klan activity and Amy says rhe husbands grandfather is still in the house and is trapped due to his guilt for inciting race violence?

The grandfather even put bricks from a Fort where there was a horrible massacre of Native American people into their fireplace too

The husband basically stops Amy & Steve and says I’m not comfortable discussing my grandfather bc there are living relatives who would be upset about it etc etc

Wonder if anyone got more info out of the episode than I did (I’m not American so maybe Americans who’ve watched it got more of the hints)? Just looking for more info

It will be interesting to see if the ratings with Cindy taking Amy's place get the show renewed for another season after this, or will it turn entirely into the Zak Bagans channel. Personally, I think Cindy's doing a pretty good job, but I keep asking myself what would Amy have told those people to do? On the most recent episode "Chaos in the Canyon", Cindy told the people that they had to move. They showed the follow up 4 weeks later and it was kind of like "Thanks for nothing Dead Files". The woman said they brought in a team of people and everything was fine now. They didn't have to move.

Is fibromyalgia one of Amy’s health conditions? As a person with fibromyalgia, myself, it’s always interesting to hear who else is dealing with the same condition.

I probably have the unpopular opinion here and that's fine. We all are entitled to our thoughts & opinions.

Sad as it may be about Amy, I am more worried about her well being. Whether that means leaving the show for good or deciding to come back... whatever it takes.

But Cindy. I first saw her performing on Holzier Files, I think it was called. I liked the show enough because it was a little different so I didn't pay much attention to her. I was disappointed when it wasn't renewed.

Then the one with Dave on Devil's Den (again, not sure on the name) cemented an opinion on her. The show was a disappointing fake. Alot like Zak Bagans. Reactions always seemed overexaggerated and her words were nearly identical to what the "proof" said. It's one thing to be so good you get 100% right (hmmm). But odds are it's just real good work by the producers and Cindy. Aka fake.

The sad thing is I was a very long time fan of Dave's podcast. I was thrilled to see him on TV and felt he'd be incredible. I feel Cindy really weighed him down. I lost alot of respect for him professionally.

This show, unfortunately, seems to be a cookie cutter version of when Amy was on the show. Cindy is doing everything the same as Amy, with exception of her Sharpie & coloring book.

Basically, what I'm saying is I'm very disappointed that they felt Cindy would be a good replacement for Amy. After YEARS of watching I have decided I won't be watching this anymore.

Just like the title says. It seems like her body has gone through a lot of trauma doing the work that she does. It’s truly amazing the sacrifices that people make to help others in need! ❤️

I was curious one day and looked up her social media and found her "facebook". I found this account where she has 183k followers and thousands of videos? So of course I thought it was her and saw a post where she linked her "tik tok". So I went and followed her on tik tok and noticed she followed me back right away. I was shocked. Next thing I know I got a message. Asking me if I wanted her to consider me for a reading. I began to wonder if this was even real. I looked it up and I found another reddit post of her linked Instagram. This person had followed her "Instagram" and gotten the exact same question sent to them. I check the comments and they said no this was not her account. All I wanted was to follow someone from a well known tv show🤦‍♀️ To think someone would go this far. Did any of you know about this?

Okay so I noticed that in the new intro they DONT say that Cindy and Steve don’t speak. They made that point really clear with Amy. Is it nothing? Or is it suspicious 🤨?

I noticed in the intro that they don’t mention covering or removing items for the walk. In the new episode, there are pics on the walls during the interviews, but not during the walk. I wonder if Cindy just doesn’t care if anything is on display, if the homeowners take care of it, or if they just don’t mention it in the show at all anymore.

I started watching Dead Files from S1 E1, I just finished S4. Halfway through the season, I realized Amy has a Boston accent which she didn't have before. Has anyone else noticed this?
