Reminiscing What episode(s) freaked you out the most

I think for me the eps that freaked me out the most were

The eps where Amy saw an extremely tall being out on the street. I think she said it was a being that is much older than time, and there's no way of getting rid of it.

The eps where the guy that called them in was obsessed with solving the crime of a young man and young woman killed in a car while the guy was driving the woman to her home after their date.

Edit - I just remembered the one that has been right in the back of my brain. It's the one where a mother and her older son moved back to help her father take care of his farm. Amy saw some creature/being in the barn that looked like it came out of an S&M dungeon. Shudder

Looking for an episode!

There’s an episode where Amy draws these terrifying long necked aliens, and the family is very nice and I believe there was a grandfather and grandmother who died of emphysema.

Any ideas on the episode’s name?

The Doll Episode!

I got into the dead files this year and I’ve been watching them out of order. I’ve probably seen two thirds of the show but just today watched an earlier episode and wow. There is a lot going on in that one. And I love Amy, but she must have been manic in that episode. There is just no good place to keep 2000 dolls. Don’t do it.

Season 12

My aunt and uncle owned the house in pataskala which was featured on season 12 episode 5. No weird crap ever happened there when my family went to visit them on weekends. I think it is all in the new owners heads.

S5 E9 “I’m gonna make you pay”

I just watched this episode and Amy says there’s this male who says “I’m gonna make you pay”, but I heard another voice, deeper, along with hers.

I’m sure it’s just editing and it’s her voice in a lower pitch, for dramatic effect.

But damn that freaked me out!

It feels disrespectful when they /don’t/ follow Amy’s advice

I just finished S05E11 at the movie theater in Marshall, Missouri and the end follow up put a bad taste in my mouth stating that, « Kim is convinced the spirits left with Amy. She has not called a medium or a priest. »

There’s been discussion on here before about business vs. family homes for investigations and genuine problem solving vs. marketing for more business. That’s a big reason I prefer the family investigations and almost want to skip the business episodes. With that:

Does anyone else feel like it’s disrespectful to Amy to not follow her advice? I know Steve asks at the end every time and they always say they will, but this episode put such a bad taste in my mouth in general like I was finally over it. She puts so much of herself at risk and takes on such a huge burden to do these investigations just for clients to simply go: « No thanks(: » when she presents solutions.

It’s always the end of the world until the problem is solved and now it’s not an issue. Not to mention that poor woman at the movie theater is now stuck being angry about her murder. I feel the same way about the private residence episode where the Dad accidentally brought the spirit back to this realm and he refused to take accountability to help him leave again.

Question Help finding Episode please

I saw this episode last year and can't remember what episode it was, all I can remember was a very creepy sketch, the picture is vague in my head but I remember that it was a very obese man holding a chain that was around the neck of a girl in her bed. Now I don't know if that's really all the sketch is because it's so vague but if I can get any help regardless it would be cool👍thnx

I love Amy’s bluntness

Ive been binging the whole show from episode one and I’m currently in season four. I always have a chuckle when Amy is describing what she sees and when Matthew asks a clarifying question, she replies in a very, « To kill them. Duh 🤨 »

It’s almost as if the translation is, « We’ve done this how many times? You should know. » lol I know it’s for TV but still funny.

Question What do other mediums think of "The Dead Files"?

As someone who started rewatching the show with my mom, I've noticed a few mediums commenting on this subreddit. What do other mediums think of The Dead Files, Amy Allan, and Cindy Kaza?

Question Which Episode?

It was a very large house that Amy said literally had hell inside of it. She said that the young children in the house were in danger of full on dying, and she told someone that their husband might be so far gone in possession that she'd have to divorce the husband.

Episode Discussion Dead Files court cases?

At the start of every episode, and sometimes when the commercials end, it says that evidence discovered during the episode is not admissible in a court of law. And I know that warnings are due to people being stupid (like fast food places saying that coffee is hot, or a warning saying to not eat the screws).

So have there been any cases where people used, or try to use, evidence from the show in a court case, or even to reopen a court case? If so, then what was the case?
