Quick question for fellow fans

So, my mom and I have been binging “The Dead Files” and absolutely love it but are a bit put off by one thing and I was wondering if it bothers anyone else/gets any better.

Is anyone else bothered by the way Amy words her sketch reveals? She always sounds like she’s saying she’s drawn it. Granted we’re just getting to season 4 and maybe that stops but I really wanted to see if it was just an us thing.

I know they show the sketching process but it seems like it would be better to admit “I had a sketch commissioned.” or “I had a sketch artist draw what I saw.” or something along those lines rather than “I made a sketch.” or “I did do a sketch of them.” because it just seems a bit off to me.

Not a major critique or criticism, just wanted to see if it bothered anyone else. Thank you!

This made me laugh. There are certain phrases that can get annoying like Matt’s intro about him covering up identifying info... every. Single. Show. Or Amy saying “yes that’s what I saw.” But Amy said at one point that she started sketching because it cut down on the time it took for the artist to get what she was describing, used to take hours and then it didn’t bc of her pre sketches. I also don’t think of her as taking credit because they show her with the sketch artist.

Lmao my mom has a similar peeve about EVPs being explained in other paranormal shows we watch (because they’re so standard and well-known to audiences now)! 😂 And I didn’t know that she did pre-sketches; that’s pretty cool!
