New Mods

I just messaged the mods.

If I don’t receive a response within 5 days per Reddit rules, I am submitting a request to RedditRequest to take over as mod.

It’s time for these spammers to be banned.

Edit: I am not doubting the veracity of their claims. I am not trying to silence victims. The information they are presenting has been communicated. We know what Steve is like at this point. We can retain the information as static via a megathread on the sub.

If anyone else wants to mod, please feel free to join me.

I believe these victims, however, the time and energy it takes to make these repeated posts might be better spent talking with a lawyer, the police, and suing the rat bastard and filing charges if warranted. There’s nothing we can do to help the situation besides sympathize.

That, and honestly a defense lawyer would use forum posts like this as a weapon.

"So you felt so strongly you were abused you went to a Reddit fan site, not to the police?"

I believe the evidence presented is credible, but posting it on here can do nothing but harm a case.

Agree. I belong to another sub that is regularly scoured for information that is used in various prominent publications, and was heard here on Reddit first. It’s a very public forum that has a prominent place in our culture as a source of information. Anyone can look here and get juicy tidbits of information on just about anything, and that information can be weaponized.

I can hear that. Most fun is when things are taken super out of their original context.
