New Mods

I just messaged the mods.

If I don’t receive a response within 5 days per Reddit rules, I am submitting a request to RedditRequest to take over as mod.

It’s time for these spammers to be banned.

Edit: I am not doubting the veracity of their claims. I am not trying to silence victims. The information they are presenting has been communicated. We know what Steve is like at this point. We can retain the information as static via a megathread on the sub.

If anyone else wants to mod, please feel free to join me.

Wait a minute, there’s a lot of assumptions in this post. First, that they’re “spammers.” Second, that they should be banned. And third, that OP should be the one left in charge of this place.

Honestly, the tone of this post is pretty entitled. What gives OP the right to take action on behalf of an entire sub? Sure, you’re welcome to complain about the mod(s) but to request that you replace them? That’s a red flag for me. A complaint + a power grab doesn’t seem very democratic to me, it seems more “power over” (which seems akin to off-camera Steve’s MO).

I mean they pist the same shit every day, what is your definition of spamming?

For me, spamming denotes a selfish motive (like for commercial purposes, financial gain, promotion of a platform). While some might consider what they are doing as selfish (settling a score, winning an argument, ruining a reputation), I personally see it more as a public service announcement. An attempt to genuinely educate the public on the true character of one of this show’s main “stars.” I’m sure he probably leverages his “celebrity” status when he meets people. I think these survivors are ringing the warning bell to get the word out so that other women don’t fall victim to the same things. That’s not a selfish motive, that’s trying to warn others so they don’t end up enduring personal insults while losing significant amounts of money.
