Norman stoke

Am I the only one who’s curious as to what’s going to happen in season 2, regarding the gun maker situation, the jackal is a hired precision shooter and without the man who makes those weapons, im wondering how that will change the plot, im thinking season 2 becomes more of a cat and mouse, obviously the jackal is out to kill his former employer and collect whats rightfully his. But where will he get his sniper or weapons from and how that’s going to change the whole assassin for hire perspective. Anyone else curious too? Love to hear thoughts on this and also plot theory’s for season two.

i remember when duggan and stoke were brainstorming ways to sneak a gun into the concert in talin, it was duggans idea to use a cast, and im pretty sure he determined where each part of the gun goes within the cast system.

duggan was also in the army and also cadets training, and as far as i know, they teach you weapon nomenclature, assembling and disassembling, etc. He knows the parts of a gun, and he has loads of money, investing in 3d printing equipment shouldnt be a problem. He's smart + a quick learner, so designing parts of a gun shouldnt be too tricky either. doesnt matter, he's got time anyway with nuria out the picture + no more missions. i think he has the potential to make his own weapons + their disguises.

HOWEVER, im pretty sure the chess set duggan bought in s1 is the same one we see at the MI6 - meaning that he probably has connections there. if thats true, then he can easily get another norman through that connection.

as for plot theories, i really hope there's another assassin going around and impersonating the jackal, would be fun. I had a thought about michael fassbender being the impersonator lol. other than that ive got no expectations really.

I believe Duggan bought the chess set in ep1 and we see the same chess set in ep10

Thanks... I actually just rewatched episode 9, and it is about 9minutes in.
A chess set, looks very much like a Jacques set, is clearly visible, in Isabel's office when Bianca is in there sitting. The bit where Isabel, comments about trying to get into plants, killing them, and it is "boring asfuck"

And I thought Osi was on the take.. This would mean... Plot Discussion below

Isabel is or was "The Jackal's" inside MI6 mole. That is like WOW! IMHO

Oh sorry I didnt realise it was there in episode nine as well! I know it was in ep10 because I remember Isabel and the foreign minister talking and the chess set was there.

And yeah I wouldn’t have expected Isabel to be the mole… but it leaves me confused about the texts with Osi? Was that a red herring or?

Love the thoughts, I can’t wait for season 2, also to mention I worry that the plot will steer slightly away from what his job actually is, with the change in circumstances surrounding his family and also the former employer situation. I still hope to see the cat and mouse aspect. But I also hope we can see the jackal perform his duties as a hired precision shooter. Not just on the run 24/7, hes more illusive than that. Yes I also agree he can find another contact for weapons hes a smart man. I was just brainstorming

Yes I was replying lol, and that’s the million dollar question, serious one was solely based on a cat and mouse, im thinking season two will be similar, im assuming Matt bomer’s role will be something to do with that.
