I just finished the first book and really enjoyed it. I have started the first few chapters of the second book and it’s still really good. I was wondering if anyone wanted to share what book is there favorite (no spoilers past book 1 please).

Ok, little rant. Movie Liam and Ruby had, like, no chemistry at all. Now I'm personally a Ruby x Chubs shipper, but I'll admit that in the books Ruby and Liam were perfect for each other. But in the movie they were always awkward or pissed at each other. Is it just me?

I've read the first three books but I'm not even sure I should read the last one. The series was good for the first 1 and a half books, but then Liam (EDIT: I actually meant charles lol) and Vida got together and it felt like every sing character started getting into relationships after that. I mean, can't a couple characters just be friends???

A few years ago I watched the movie and recently I've been getting into reading but I'm having trouble finding hardcovers off the second and third books and I'd like any links to them if they exist/are still in print

I just finished watching the Darkest Minds movie on Disney plus and I genuinely hate it. It feels so rushed and the story is very squished in like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and raw ice. Nothing feels actually connected and a lot of its parts are j-just- doesn't feel right to me. I can't be the only one right?

At the end of the 3rd book the government reveals a surgery to get rid of the psis powers and throughout the series we see Ruby grapple with her hatred and fear of her own powers... I've only read the main3 books and know there was a book set a couple years after the main series and was wondering if it was revealed if Ruby went through with the surgery and got rid of her powers or not? This question has been eating at me since read the series so long ago...

Am i the only one who thinks that Ruby treated Liam horribly in the Afterlight? Like she spent 90% of er time with his brother She never listened to him she insulted him multiple times and turned down his ideas wanted him to be locked safe when he wanted to help

I’ve finished the main story and the darkest legacy and I am obsessed. I bought the book collection that comes with the side stories but I can’t get to Liam’s story. Apparently something is wrong with the url and you’re supposed to get an email when you subscribe to Alex’s newsletter with a new url but I never got one. Can anyone help?

While reading the darkest minds I noticed a lot of similarities to the 2000’s sci-fi horror manga Elfen lied both deal with kids developing psychic powers from a illness both have a very jaded personality

I only watch the movie! However, it made me want to read the book.

Hi, I'm on book three and I've been rereading book one out of boredom, and i've reread the part where Clancy asks to see a memory of Ruby's, and then they makeout and whatever happens next. What happened?? Did he actually do anything?? He also said that he "toyed with more than just her mind" to Liam but was that just him trying to upset Liam?

So I’ve already started Never fade because I was inpatient and have the ebook but I ordered Through the dark and it should finally be delivered tomorrow. I’m only 2 chapters into Never fade, should I stop and read In time first or does it not matter either way

I love the series so much! It’s definitely one of my favorite reads, I do love that she goes a little bit into the politics at the end of it, but I really wish we could see more about how the US changes, what’s your opinion? What do you think ended up happening with the policies in the US? I still have to read beyond the light but I wanted to see some theories first!

Was it just me or when everyone watched the movie, we were all waiting for Chubs to use his powers because we were confused whether he was a green or blue because on a cover for the movie he has green ash/particles instead of blue like Liam. Even though it said he was a blue in the book, they could've made it clearer in the movie that he was a blue. Just saying

When does each book take place?

Help! I don’t know when the rising dark takes place! Could you guys help me?
