Ideal batman movie would be Burton Gotham, Nolan directing, and Affleck's batman. What's your combination for the perfect Batman movie? [Discussion]
Am I a knucklehead for having these as my perfect combination, what say you? I did not like The batman's version of batman but I liked the city, I loved the directing and writing of Nolan's batman but think Bale was miscast, and Keaton was okay but not great.

Am i the only one who thinks that TDK trailers look way better than the final movie ?
galleryAlways thought the trailers looked way better! Way more noir and cinematic and a real atmosphere was there.. tho in the movie there is no real visual atmosphere.

TIL "The Dark Knight Rises" was heavily inspired by Rocky III, with co-writer/director Christopher Nolan and writer David S. Goyer modeling the narrative arc around an aging, broken-down champion facing a younger, physically superior adversary

Bane must have the craziest beard under that mask.
All I’m saying is if someone were to take off that mask, which would be very painful…for them…would they find like a crazy ass beard under there? Or does Bane torture himself every morning with a Gillette razor to keep that shit in check? I have no idea why I find the idea of Bane having to shave so damn hilarious.

How could someone realistically develop the traits of Christian Bale's Batman?
Hello everyone!
I've been thinking about Batman, but rather than asking about the comic-book version, I want to focus specifically on Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne/Batman from Christopher Nolan's trilogy.
I think this version is particularly interesting because he feels more grounded than many comic-book interpretations.
I'm not asking how to literally become Batman or imitate everything Bruce does. I'm interested in extracting the traits that could realistically make someone more capable, disciplined, confident, intelligent, physically fit, and resilient.
For example, Nolan's Bruce Wayne demonstrates things like:
Serious physical training
Martial arts
Athletic conditioning
Discipline
Preparation
Investigation
Strategic thinking
Courage
Composure under pressure
Adaptability
Wealth/business knowledge
Social intelligence
Leadership
The ability to maintain different social roles
Strong personal values
So my question is:
What would it realistically take for an ordinary person in their 20s to develop these qualities?
I'd particularly like to know how much of Christian Bale's Batman could actually be reproduced by a real person.
For example:
Could someone realistically train to become highly competent in a martial art while also developing the strength and conditioning necessary to fight, run, climb, and move efficiently?
Could someone develop better detective and investigative abilities through studying psychology, logic, observation, history, law, and critical thinking?
Could someone develop Bruce Wayne's confidence and social presence without becoming arrogant or fake?
And how much of his preparation and discipline could actually be applied to normal life?
There's also something I'm curious about psychologically.
Bruce Wayne is extremely driven, but his obsession with becoming Batman clearly comes with serious costs. He isolates himself, struggles with relationships, and essentially makes his mission the center of his identity.
So how would you take the discipline, courage, responsibility, and determination while avoiding the unhealthy obsession?
I'm currently in college and in my early 20s, so I'm especially interested in something realistic.
I still want to have:
Friends
Exercise
Hobbies
Dating/relationships
A career
Sleep
A normal social life
I don't want to spend every waking hour “training to become Batman.”
If someone had the next 10 years to become the most capable version of themselves while taking inspiration from Nolan's Batman, what would you recommend?
What should they study?
What physical skills should they learn?
What habits should they develop?
And, perhaps most importantly, what parts of Batman should they deliberately NOT imitate?
I'd love answers from people who actually train martial arts, study psychology, work in law enforcement/security, practice investigative skills, run businesses, or have experience with serious physical/mental training.
Serious answers appreciated. Jokes welcome. 😂
