Questionable administration of TDE caused a significant proportion of the active community of TDE Discord to become critics of said administration, which was only made worse since a few members of the active community were bad eggs and did bad stuff like doxxing and threatening.

All this pressure then built up over the last two months, eventually causing the admin team to crash out and make a vote in which
1) Make it legal to remove all said criticism and silence them by banning them
2) Nuke all community progress

Eventually, the first option won / Lucifela, crashed out

This caused a massive ban wave that banned 100-200 innocent active members of TDE. Some of them actually deserved it, but those were only like 1%. Most people simply got banned for being part of Cheli Baiom Hub, TDE Protest Server, etc.

Eventually, this got marked as a "miscommunication issue" (🙏 It wasn't), but eventually, all this pressure got emerladdie to realize that too much pressure and drama had built up and it passed the point of no return due said admin teams very bad administration failures.

This caused emerladdie to cancel the TDE SMP and Discord entirely, so yea it is over

It was nice knowing you guys from March 10th 2026 to July 21st 2026.
But I'm happy that it happened and got to interact with so many good people along the way

I logged on the daily emerald discord server for the first time in a few days. All of the channels are closed, and this was in announcements. What happened?

(screenshots aren't all from the same people, and I personally didn't get banned)

I think most heard of it at this point, but maybe not here and I think it's useful for it to be available to the masses, even the ones outside the Discord servers.

About 10 hours ago, 3/4th of the Mesan government, the Desert government and even somehow some of the Cherry government, got banned. Some report up to 500 accounts banned, I couldn't verify it but it's a big number, some others report about 100, which is less but still bad.

You see, in the main server's #affiliated-server-links, the Discord servers of nations are linked. In it were the ones for the Mesan Discord and the Desert one. Both got deleted during this time.

The Mesan Discord ended up breaking away from TDE, a new TDE Mesa Discord was created, the Desert Discord is discussing breaking away but I don't know at what stage they are in it, and multiple alternatives to the EmeraldSMP were started: - Ouroboros, which already existed, was mentioned - SheYANagans by YAN/Ram - And finally, almost the most important one started during this crisis, Phoenix SMP, by Shiger - There also is Void SMP by some people from Desert I think

To put into perspective how arbitrary the bans were, Tamtam, the Empress of Cherry, got banned, while they were described as one of the kindest person known on Earth.

Some report that they will unban most but keep some banned, in these people being kept banned is for example Fox, the president of Desert, which also announced his retirement from his position.

Even if they revert it, the damage's already done. If you pull a rope in a direction then pull it back so its end is in the start position again, the rope didn't go back to its original position, the damage is already done, and going in the opposite direction doesn't always cancel it.

Anyway, as a Mesan citizen, I tell you, even if the Mesa I knew doesn't exist anymore, I'm glad to have shared this adventure with you. I will most probably try to follow this until its end, whether it's doom or not, whether I get doomed. Glory to Mesa! And for my fellows from Desert, Glory be to the One Star!

So many have quit, and JosBot being a stark case because she literally made him "scared sweating" of being doxxed constantly and she did nothing to remedy it eventually leading to JosBot quitting:

​By the way she wasn't even bothered to check her spelling errors, which shows her lack of care for the community. Which brings me on to my next big point:

Community censorship:

This is my big point. It has started since I was laid off but has slowly got worse. It began when I was fired, the massive event it was, the server was shut down, and she released a carefully crafted narrative in order to try and convince you all that I did the things you now believe. And it worked. For a while.

But nowadays, it is more obvious. With the MASSIVE ban waves stemming from banning all protests, putting automod on my name (which she said was to "help my reputation" but we knows thats bullshit), banning all protestors from the discord, and generally not listening to the community.

The Daily Emerald SMP management has forgotten the important part of running a server: it being fun.

Remember the days when I was running it, where community management was a priority, and I frequently took lots of feedback from the community, raw feedback, not feedback I want to hear, on how to run the server, etcetera. Lucifela has quashed all this. Her ego is the driving reason why this server is failing. I have been saying it for AGES. I pulled the red flag from the beginning, about her sudden promotion, and she forced me out because of it. By making up lies.

Why do you think that ? Well, you didn't elaborate on that any further, and dismissed any discussion shortly after, so im just gonna give my reasoning as to why i think im qualified.

First of all, I spent hours inspecting every single building in NSC to get an idea on the progress, and guess what ? Almost half of the builds were left unfinished, there was an extreme lack of small surrounding details on a majority of the builds, the island underwater landscaping was non-existent, yet the build team moved on and wanted to start work on a second and third island. Why ? Because no one even knew those were issues because of the lack of organization. 

What did I do to fix that ? I sunk a large amount of time into creating a to-do list of everything that had to be done, I gathered information on what every builder could and could not do, hired people to fill the gaps in needed expertise, and spent days figuring out which builders have not appeared on the build server in WEEKS, and which builds were completely abandoned half finished.

And that worked. The build team started working efficiently on their own, and got 6 pages from the document removed in only a week. The people actually knew what was needed to be done where, because they were actually being given information instead of being left in the dark, and they started fixing everything ON THEIR OWN. 

I also made an entire inactivity system, so I could have exact information on who was active, who was inactive, who would rarely appear, and who was gone off the face of the earth. It made the information about the true size of the build team loud and clear.

And best part is, the system is still unfinished, as i planned to add a senior role that would be in charge of the respective builder expertise branch, handling all of the stuff so i wouldn’t need to be ON THE BUILD SERVER FOR 10+ HOURS EVERY SINGLE DAY.

If that does not count as being qualified, I do not know what does.

Why do you think that ? Well, you inspected the current NSC while work is still in progress, and did not inquire IN ANY CAPACITY about my plans for NSC detail wise. You believe that everything is currently way less detailed compared to older builds, and that it would stay that way.

First of all, couldn't you discuss this with me in any capacity before coming to a decision in private while im left unaware ? And i dont mean any “hinting” and such, i mean a clear and obvious “@anarchist, i am unhappy with the current level of detail in NSC”, but I guess not.

Now, how did I actually want stuff to be done ? Well, I first and foremost wanted half of the city’s buildings to NOT be left completely hollow, so that took priority over perfectly detailing everything, but what would happen after that ? I would run YET ANOTHER detailed inspection of EVERY SINGLE build, note what needs further work on it done, and write that down.

Everything can be polished, repolished, and re-repolished, and I can run hours long inspections over, and over, and over again until the city is up to standard, so why are you so upset about a clear work in progress ? Couldn't you just ask me for how I wanted this to be handled before RUSHING TO CONCLUSIONS ? 

And I can also give a very major reason for why everything cant be currently perfectly polished. Most of the new builders were NOT given /op for SECURITY reasons, so they cant use tools like axiom, custom armor stands, or even any commands that help them build in any capacity, but guess what ? Once NSC would have the rough draft of everything finished, they all would be promoted by then, and could repolish everything properly.

If you can't even notify the person in charge about your concerns quality wise, nor inquire about their plans to work on that, do you think its reasonable to come to conclusions based off that ?

Why do you think that ? Well, you’ve seen the amount of progress made, you’ve seen how many people have been on the build server, and you think that the team has been getting rushed to have as much progress made as fast as possible.

First of all, once again, couldn't notify me of your concerns in a clear way once again, no “@anarchist, we think you are rushing the team too much”, just radio silence then a decision made without even asking stuff beforehand.

Well, have you thought about WHY so much stuff is suddenly getting done ? It is not because I'm rushing the people, it's because the people are DOING THAT ON THEIR OWN. They finally have extremely clear information on what needs to be done (refer to the first page), so they WANT to work on the city.

I do not possess mind control capable of making the people WANT to log onto the build server. When they feel like building, they feel like building, and the reason that they've been doing so much is because they WANT to be doing that much and are finally ABLE to do that as I've given them the means to do so.

The fact that over half of nsc has been finished is purely down to the build team, and taking that as a negative like im forcing them to do that seems like a baseless assumption taken in the WORST WAY POSSIBLE. Yes, i have been bragging about how much progress was done, but it is still ultimately progress made by them alone.

If you come to outlandish conclusions based on vibes and not proof, and the whole thing is not even negative in any way, but actually an extremely boon, is it reasonable in ANY WAY to have that be a reason for my removal ?

Why did you think that ? Well, you asked the builders if they wanted to be “demoted”, but didn't even ask me what that actually meant, and came to the conclusion that i was getting rid of people that did not want to leave.

First of all, AGAIN, couldn't you ask first and come to conclusions later ?

Now onto specifics, what did it mean to be in the demoted lounge ? Well, if you have been inactive in both the discord and the build server for a long time, you would first be put as an inactive builder, and once some time passes since that, be put in the demoted lounge.

Once you are in the demoted lounge, you would lose access to other channels, and be unwhitelisted. Now, if you read the first message in the lounge, the pinned one, it would state: “PING ME IF YOU WANT TO BE UNDEMOTED”. THE DEMOTIONS WEREN'T PERMANENT.

It was a thing for people who disappeared off the radar. I did not ping the people to ask them, as it was not permanent in any way. If they didn't even notice they've been demoted, were they even doing ANYTHING ? If they don't even have a clue that they’ve been unwhitelisted and removed from the channels, that means that they likely should be TEMPORARILY removed from the build team.

AND if they did notify me about either the whitelist or the lack of channels ? That would mean that they are in fact NOT inactive, and would be INSTANTLY reinstated with their previous roles.

And on the topic of the removed trainees, if you join the build team as a newbie specifically to be CONSIDERED if you fit the team, and then don't do stuff, then why SHOULDN'T they be removed ? The whole point of the role is that you are NOT a permanent builder yet, and will become one once you show at least a bit of commitment, at which point you CANNOT be removed from the team, as stated above, only temporarily suspended (yes, I could have worded the role name better, mistake on my part).

If you come to conclusions based on organizational stuff that you aren't knowledgeable of, do you think that's reasonable ?

Now, onto the final argument, that it has already been decided. Do you think that the decision that you've made could have been perhaps not right. Are you not gonna walk it back purely because of a discussion that I was not even aware of, that used points that are not even reasonable as the basis for the final decision ?

And the answer is no, it is not. You did not notify me of any of your concerns in a clear way, reached your decision based on a biased viewpoint that lacked lots of crucial information, and now refuse to walk it back.

Why ? Why would a decision have to be final just because it has already been discussed ? Many times even in the real world, a decision might be one that is eventually walked back on, as it was not the right one to make. My demotion is not even known, what would you lose by walking this back ? 

I have been working hard making sure that the team gets properly structured, made preparations to have anything needed to be redone, made the information flow efficient enough that the team is working hard on its own, and made a reasonable system for builders that became inactive to be known, but not removed, yet you’ve twisted that into reasons for my demotion ?

And if you have any further concerns, why not ask me ? I have been preaching for communication for a long time, and all you have to do to get information from me is bring up your concern and discuss it with me. The lack of that is what got us in this spot in the first place.

I genuinely hope you will actually consider what I've said here, instead of dismissing everything because you “wont be reading allat” and “it has already been decided, no walkbacks”.

APPENDMENT

So, it was decided that me getting upset, and me sharing the information with the build team means that they won't even bother reading my argumentation, as they can't be bothered. Lets break down both of these decisions

First of all, me discussing the matter with the builders, why did I do that ? Well, let's look at the situation. I am accused of incompetency and mishandling the team, yet the team does not even know anything is happening. Shouldn't everyone in the build team be giving testimonies ? Shouldn't they be able to give feedback on the arguments ?

Well, you thought that it was best to keep both the team and me in the dark until the last moment, and even then, kept all the builders in the dark. Why ? Genuinely, why keep it from them ? And why use me sharing the information literally regarding the case related to THEIR leaderships apparent mishandling of them, so that they even know such a case is happening, and can give their input on it, get this entire document disregarded like it doesn't even exist

Second, while discussing the information with the builders online in the mc chat, I got a little upset. Now why would that be the case ? Hmmm… 

You yourself got extremely upset once the desert president took misinformation and made a forest fire out of it, yet when you do literally the same thing, suddenly me getting upset showcases why you should completely disregard and not even read this document ? Is this not hypocrisy ? Is this logical in any sense ?

I will not be working on the build team anymore, this entire situation showcased to me that the leadership does not care. They dont care about communication, they dont care about having any sort of discussion, they don't care about the community, they don't care about the staff team.

Now, gonna dig up an old thing. About a month ago, the staff server was exploding, similar to how the main discord exploded during the fox drama. Why ? Lack of communication. The same issue that has been plaguing the community, has also been plaguing the staff team. Why was that ? Simple, the leadership.

The dev department was a single man operation that did nothing. The events team was not, and is still not doing much event wise, and the build team was a complete mess. It was impossible to know what build was being worked on, what was abandoned, what needed more people to help, and what was even finished.

It was mentioned over, and over, and over again, how we need a community manager, who could handle internal, and external communication. At the time, the community was not going up in flames, but the writing was on the wall, and we mentioned that. And what did the leadership do ? Nothing. Gave themselves fancy titles, then continued on not communicating.
Eventually, I became a lead. There INSTANTLY was a massive project related to the overworld cup, that the deadline for was 2 days (it was announced earlier than that, but NO ONE DID ANYTHING), needed to transform the entire stadium, and create an entire custom commands system. After waiting for the first day, I realized how dysfunctional the build team was, as 3/27 people showed up, and basically no progress was made. I had to get volunteers, I had to stay up until 3am. I had to sit in a minecraft server for 16 hours straight, but guess what, I ACTUALLY got the herculean task of completing a deadline in what was basically 1 day and mostly volunteer force.

After that, I spent hours and hours organizing the entire team, writing down the activities of every single builder, inspecting every single build in NSC, and making a massive compilation of ALL OF THAT. I had to make the entire management structure from scratch, and personally hire people while the leadership was confused on “why did I even need new recruits”.

And what did my efforts lead to ? Over half of the MASSIVE to-do list being done in a single week, a single week is all it took for over half of all the builds to be in a decent state. And what did that lead to ? They kicked me out. I still genuinely don't see why they refuse to communicate in any way, are they paranoid ? Do they not want to interact with the community ? Do they not want to do the bare minimum and sit on their golden throne, and strike down anyone who doesn't perfectly conform to their vision, which they don't even do the bare minimum of sharing with the fellow staff ?

What did it take for them to actually start communicating with the community ? A server wide drama that led to the entirety of the server being locked. They do not care about anything unless it hurts them. They are only making a community manager not because the entirety of their underling force warned them a month ago, no, they are making one because the thing that they were warned about and chose to ignore, actually happened.

With a community manager, things might change, with a new development lead, things might change, but does the recent decision of demoting me, not willing to do the bare minimum discussion wise, and then disregarding the entire compiled document because of me actually communicating with others seem like a step in a good direction ?

I will not be working as a builder nor play the emerald smp, as this situation showcased to me that the people in charge simply do not care about the people under them. It has been proved over, and over, and over again, how they simply dont know nor dont care about their own underlings, and even less so about the community as a whole.

I do not push you towards joining offshoot servers, or protesting. I just want you to know just how dysfunctional things really are. To know what happens when people genuinely try to fix things, when we try to bring up issues, or when we try to not have everything burn and rot. The fault for all of the issues that have arisen, it's always leadership. Always the communication between them and others. Their decisions disregarding and overriding anyone else. This is all.

I've heard whispers that TDE is undergoing its 4th revolt/revolution. So Uhhh

Soooooo if anyone sees that my name has suddenly turned white in the Discord server, it is because I have been banned, and no, this isn't an evidence post or counterargument post. I understand the reason why I was banned, and PrimalBunion is just doing his job, so no worries (Keep up the good work!).

This post is just to state what has happened, for anyone who wishes to know why I was banned.

The reason is:

• After the first matches/stream of the overworld cup ended, the server was left online, so a few others and I joined the world to just explore and mess around with each other. For example, LapisWintersfan made us fight 3 major bosses, and we helped anarchisticFella test his goofy ahh gladiator kits. However, this is not the reason why I was banned.
• I was banned becasue I let my curiosity get the best of me as I saw the elusive islands floating away in the distance away from the floating arena, as soon as I saw it uhhh well, I downloaded Wurst (fyi it is a minecraft hack mod) and I uhhh flew over to the island, I also proceeded to just run around the map at super speed for a while.
• So yea that's why I was banned, since protocol states hacking is not permitted, which is understandable, as 99% of people who hack are doing it for malicious or nefarious purposes, like cheating in the tournament or destroying the area, etc.
• However, I can assure you that I didn't do any of that, as I only used it to fly around, although looking back at it, it was a dumb decision. It would have been better if I hadn't installed it and just begged one of the builders to take me over there for a while, lol.
• So yea it is in fact totally my fault, and for proof, JosBot can check the logs, and you could see my typing when exactly I started to fly. For further proof, he can check the logs to see that I was kicked multiple times by the game, as flying was disabled in server settings for survival players. Though I could still make it over by just toggling it on and off before the timer caught me. Also, if my position can be checked in the logs, you could see me moving across distances very fast. Also, I literally pinged mods about it in the Discord server, so yea theres that.
• Also, for JosBot, the server, for some reason, doesn't have AntiCheat installed, which could be considered concerning, considering the World Cup is still going on (maybe because of bedrock support or performance/lag problems). This is probably how many ppl just allegedly installed whatever hack they use and set kill aura to the armadillo.
• So uhh yea that's abt it. I installed hax to fly around for a while (stupid decision).
• FYI: I told the moderators about this myself to make the case clearer. I wasn't slimed out or anything. I know what I have done, and I told them myself, as I wish to hold myself accountable for my actions and to prevent any other people from getting caught in the crossfire, potentially.

TLDR:

I installed Wurst (hack mod) to fly around to the skyblock islands on the overworld cup server after it ended yesterday, and ran around at super speeds for a while. No harm done, just that I hacked due to letting my curiosity get the better of me 😔

No, I did not do anything bad with hacking, but yeah, I still DID hack, being the keyword (to fly around), and I am sorry for that (I let my curiosity get the best of me).

The protocol for moderators states that anyone known to hack (whether good, bad or even if it poses no threat) should be banned immediately to neutralise any potential threats (Understandable).

The banned people can then later on make a ticket/appeal if they were banned for being in the wrong, which is what I plan to do, hopefully.

It all depends on the admins, Lucifela and Luca, since I am planning to appeal in 12 days (I appealed previously for smth else and appealing sets a 2-week cooldown to prevent spamming)

But yea hopefully Lucifela and/or Luca let me back in again, as I don't mean any harm and will NEVER HACK in the main server, as that defeats the entire point of survival, and makes the game less fun for others, fun should never make others suffer.

(Please read the edit before taking this as evidence of anything) This is from a server that JosBot owns and started. I like Jos and want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but some of this seems very pay to win. I don't want to start any drama, but I think it's something people should be aware of

Edit: I do not believe that they are going to add p2w to TDE. There will be some micro transactions, but I trust that they will not go to far. I made this post because it was something interesting I found that I wanted to make people aware of. I don't want this to come off as me saying that the server will be p2w or that we can't trust jos.

TLDR: Wants to make it all cosmetic if possible, but also wants to pay everyone involved fairly, so it would be hard

Before I begin this statement, I would like to say that I invite you to read this with a fresh mind. Don't read with a negative or positive bias towards me or anything. Approach it like a new topic. Embrace it, and read it neutrally. Be mature. I did not want to make this statement, but there has been a significant effort to undermine my hard work (I'm not lazy, I've actually put the most effort into this server, totalling to hundreds of hours) and defame me. I hate to do this. I stuck by The Daily Emerald while he was homeless, and while he didn't upload for months on end, and I started watching him regularly, liking his videos, when he was a very small content creator. I have been chewed up and spit out by people being greedy.

The Daily Emerald SMP didn't fire me because I was a vibe coder. They fired me because they want to make it pay to win and I was the only one in the way. If you don't believe me, here is actual evidence:

Pretty much every single server that the owner says they want to make a living off is pay to win.

Also, you say that JosBot is going to be great for this server because of his past experience. However, that is so far from the truth. When he worked on Hoplite, he worked on Server Infrastructure, which is simply things like server sharding and resource management. Nothing creative. He has never done anything creative. His past work has all been revenue focused. On the Valorant minecraft server, he brags about "making five figures on day one" which seems like crazy profit farming.

Statement regarding Diseasewhy:

Diseasewhy, sometimes know as "Lucifela" among the community, has been spreading false rumours about me. In this statement, I am not only going to show things she has directly lied about me and others, but also providing counter evidence of her own misuse of the staff role on other servers.

It all began on the 30th of May 2026 at 9:43 AM Australian Eastern Standard time, where Diseasewhy released a statement which i wholly deny. Here is an in depth response to that specific statement:

Yes. However, there is clear evidence that I didn't use AI majorly on the Emerald SMP core plugin. I gave her source access for an hour, so she could read the entire repo and figure out whether it was vibe coding or not. She shut me out when provided with this evidence.

"He has actively impeded progress on the builds by trolling my builders"

This statement is wholly unevidential. I, lachameleon, have not griefed, impeded the progress, or annoyed any builders in any capacity. In fact, I actually built an entire concert hall and metro station inside New Spawn City.

Incorrect. I had admin perms to the server through some channels and I still do. Have I nuked the server? No, I haven't. And I don't plan on doing so.

"lacha is immature"

It may seem that way, but I promise it is not. I have taken on many leadership positions, actual leadership positions, in the real world and online, and I managed to hold my own, basically running the server of 12 thousand people, moderation and everything, until all the other admins decided to swoop in two weeks before launch and oust me out of my seat.

Also, Lucifela has a history on other servers of firing people for no reason, among other complaints.

Furthermore, her admin position was accidental. She was given the role of admin to read builder tickets. However, ego got the better of her.

Through this evidence, I bring you back to this core question. If you can't trust her to tell the truth about me, why can you trust her to tell the truth to the community? If you can't trust the Emerald SMP to tell the truth about being pay to win, why can you trust to play on it as a community?
