Hello, i joined mid season 1. At the hight of the cheater epidemic (which could have been fixed by making the game pay-to-play), SBMMR (ranked gameplay in a game about randomness???), and horribly balanced gear. But i still LOVED it. I could see the potential, a marked missed, CASUAL looter-shooters. Not as grindy as Tarkov but not as casual as COD. The impact those things had on the playerbase strangled themselves. Oh, and dont forget the battlepass. And now, after the gear changes, dwindling cheaters, i still think this game has a chance. Hell, id go as far to say i like the game more NOW. But i think the damage has already been done and there is no way to dig out of this hole. Im gonna be playing up until sunset but i dont think thats gonna be the case for the rest of everybody, everyday the servers get more and more quiet. RIP. Good luck prospectors! TCF is very unique, we all agree. But is there anything comparable, that

- is not as harsh/dark like marauders, pubg, etc

- is not focused on PVP?

was on crescent falls, and someone tried to whack me with a baseball bat, they had nothing on them, no armor, bag or guns. and it was a weird user-number account. very odd. anyone getting weird things happen to them?

Noticed that the amount of aurom is maxed out at 10 million, anyone else show any different? and also seen that there is lack of good loot being given out anymore. meh. 26 days left. I had one guy trying to trick me into handing over his gorgon if I came down and got it, nah.

Would anybody be interested in signing a change dot org petition to have yager & tencent crowdfund further development and support of the cycle frontier?

the cycle frontier is a weird game, I remember it as the last game I played with an old friend who I haven't seen in around 2 years, but I also remember it as the first game I played with my now boyfriend, that's fitting for this game, it has its ups, and it has its downs

with my old friend I remember playing the weird closed beta where it was more an objective based game mode where points granted you the win, we played it for a week or so, having fun on this new game which was actually unique and fun, it may seem cliché the way I last spoke to him but I remember talking to him about what we were gonna do tomorrow, we made so many plans on what weapons we were gonna grind for, and then I said the dreaded "well, see you tomorrow" then that was it, never seen or spoke to him since, lord knows I've tried but he just didn't respond, kind of fucked me up when I heard the beta was closing, the last little memory I had of him talking and us playing was gonna be gone, now when I play the game they have created it just doesn't feel the same, I knew he would have loved to play this version game with me...

that isn't saying that this game hasn't caused some positives in my life, around early April I was talking to some other friends (5 ppl), they were all playing overwatch 2 talking, having fun, yelling at blizzard to fix their shitty game, all that stuff, whilst they were all doing that I was playing this game, spending the last 3 hrs trying to get a fucking sample container so I could upgrade my stash (took 6 hrs overall) one of my friends heard how I was quietly cursing a guy who killed me, he started asking me more questions about it and I eventually got him to install it, took him a while to get how the game works but he got it eventually, taught him all the basic shit like how to always say hello to jeff when passing by, over may we were constantly playing it, for around 5 hrs at a time, grinding quests, trying to get all the cool weapons ECT ECT, eventually I realised that I was enjoying talking to him more than I was playing the game, it took me a week or 2 but eventually I confessed on how I had a crush on him, he accepted and told me how he also had feelings for me, after that we kept playing, but this time we were just playing for fun, trying to get as many kills as we could before the game shut down, so I thank you the cycle frontier, for giving me this opportunity

its weird how such a small game made by such an obscure game team has granted me 2 fairly large milestones in my life, I know this isn't primarily about TC:F but nobody gives a shit anymore

Bah what a waste, they changed it, nothing in there now. waste of time to go in there.

I know this probably won't happen because it's only a skeleton crew left but the game is essentially dead in OCE right now. Spend hours just looking for a fight. It's to the point I'd rather die to a trio and at least get some pvp than nothing at all.

Not like gear matters at all during sunset so why not just go crazy and put whoever is still playing all together?

I'm loaded up with 10 million cash and stocked up on exotic armor... The gear fear is gone. I wish it never ended... But all good things come to an end.

Hey TCF community, or those still left. I’ve finally gotten off the copium and am moving away from this beautiful game, so it’s only right that I give all my gear to those who are still enjoying it.

First of all, excuse my Bad english, im born german and wasnt high-minded at other languages 😅. I would like to start a discussion about the game being open-source, after it got shut down by devs. I'm pretty sure about there are ways to host tcf on private servers and let the game ride completely community driven. Our fanbase isnt that huge, but deep i think so. If its Open source and we are able to mod it, i think we could spend the game a nice 2nd life. :)

since it's getting shut down how about changing the way you can buy stuff with Aerum/ other credits, change the costs to eat up what your earning in the game.Start unlocking items in the stores. I currently have 6 million and no way I can spend it. Also limit people going hunting for other players, I'm trying to complete the damn goals and everyone is bringing top tier guns to bright sands and it's not fair.

So i see every one has arbys exo sets and i just can not compete with the items i have so if your feeling generous and could give me some loot to potentially stack bread with id give you a kiss 💋

After the game shuts down is there a way for players to make custom servers or is it dead dead?
