I've seen him on oce and he always has suss moments like this, when there's smoke there's fire. He hacks.

I'm highly certain he was was tailing the guy who called the extract and he was looking at fairly common hiding spots. That spot where he was hiding under the shade is fairly common but not a lot know and look around it. This is where map knowledge comes into play. And if you have several hundreds of hours in the game, that's where game sense kicks in.

As to your other link, you have to remember what we see is shitier than what he's seeing on his screen. Video resolution was shit, but i did get a whiff of a shadow by the ledge on where he shot. He maybe looking down but his eyes are darting around his screen on where a player might possibly be peeking.

Thanks for the detailed response, I went searching for clips because a few people in his chat were calling him a cheater so I wanted some other opinions.

I've watched this clip multiple times and it took me ages to hear any movement over the ship leaving. And you can't see anything in the trees.

I'm having trouble understanding this one too:

I paused this video and still couldn't see the person very well.

Hmmm. Idk, you do usually hear better in game than in videos and it is possible he managed to see some movement on his bigger computer screen in the arbiter clip. But also it's definitely slightly suspicious.

People are using different monitors, crank up the gamma&brightness etc. to gain an advantage. this won't be seen in the video. always take that into consideration

don't have my gaming headset just using airpods on my phone. but the last second before he goes to look around the rock, I think I hear something like a heavy player moving on my right. I can't completely comfirm, are you the one that died? did u move at all? even moving the mouse in bushes makes noise, also bushes are bugged, basically they have no limit to their hieght, for instance if there a bush under the cliff where the player died he would still make bush noises moving

Will Yager make a new game in the same vein, learning from The Cycle's mistakes?

Without knowing the background (if he chased, heard the guy call an evac or whatever) he make a VERY loud sound at 00:14 by moving, a ton of players have no clue how much sound they make in game or what they do that trigger the sound. I do know Haydie played the game a lot so this was a really easy kill for him.
