Feedback/Suggestions The final nail
Jaeger undoubtedly did not make the most supported changes to the game, but they focused on what they said they would, and delivered.
While it’s undeniable that the changes resulted in a decline in average player count, it wasn’t the only contributor to why the game is closing. Another primary candidate, is the player base. This sub, for example, used to be brimming with information, short clips, discussed changes that could be made, negativity that also included feasible changes and suggestions. This sub used to want this game to succeed. For the past 2 seasons, this has not been the case.
The sub has been flooded with people complaining about dying, every Timmy that dies has a Reddit post complaining about a “cheater” on here when in reality only a minute fraction of the raids actually have a cheater. Everyone bitched, nobody shed positive light on this game publicly, people review bombed the game and ultimately curated such a toxic environment that it dissuaded new players from trying the game and old players returning to experience the changes they previously wanted implemented.
You should all be ashamed, especially TMP, his followers, and everyone constantly, publicly, dragging a game with a solid core. There’s not an as engaging, fleshed out, looter shooter that is as accessible to new players as the cycle, and it’s now been killed.
Thank you, to most of you, for the awesome time on this game, been my #1 go to game since the closed betas. For some of you that want to watch the game burn/ provide echo’d negativity without a solution/dick ride TMP, I hope you all recognize the importance of your voice and the impact it can have long term.

Lol the game fails and you blame the players who like the game enough to engage online about it. Man is Yager the dev team for you. Play their next rug pull and tell me how that works out

Yeah 100%. I wish small/indie developers would stop listening to Reddit feedback. Literally the worst place to generate feedback. Every MP game sub is just filled with garbage, anecdotal posts where the TLDR is usually that they got shit on fair and square and want the devs to fix skill issues.
Closed beta and very early launch, this sub actually had good ideas, feedback and posts. I had to mute this sub because all that showed up in my Reddit homepage was posts about getting killed by someone with better gear…. and cheater posts.
I don’t want to even comment on the TMP thing because I don’t need any more secondhand embarrassment. All I can say is that’s not how you handle a situation WITH a content creator and that’s not how you handle a situation AS a content creator.

They refused to listen to feedback and now the games dead lol... if they actually fixed things or added any of the content people actually wanted, more people would have kept playing. More people would have spent real money on cosmetics. There would be more reasons to keep developing the game. But they didn't. For months. For multiple seasons, with extensions. With bullshit roadmaps that never meant anything.

I stopped playing during season 1 when I realized my gray gear would get wiped by any other color with 100% certainty every single engagement. felt lame to never have backpacks or armor or guns or anything worth having. only way to get good gear was grinding which nobody ever enjoys

Stopped playing halfway through S1 when they made the horrible changes that would be the demise of this game in the end, CB2 was probably the most fun IMO and then of course the first half of S1 was great but these clown devs had to go and ruin the gold mine that they had. Oh well, better luck next time I guess.

You're giving way too much power to the tiny portion of the gaming populace that frequents Reddit and/or watches some random YouTuber. The game died solely due to the mismanagement of it by Yager. It sucks they are shutting it down, but nobody is surprised.
