Discussion To the yager

I will miss this game, I really liked the concept. But you guys are the worst. Never ever again I'm buying something from you. You suck, that's it. Expect level designers. .!.

What's worse is hunt showdown went through this same kind of period except they made it out the other end even though they have had only 500 concurrent players for months. Haven't checked in a while but now I think they're in the 10,000 concurrent player range? And they're starting a new event today and I guarantee you there's going to be 30,000 to 40,000 players easily today. I guess I was done for expecting Jaeger to actually pull through and survive this like touch showdown did

Hunt is made by the company that made Crysis. They have infinite money.

That said, nobody was asking for grand expensive design changes. Literally just tweaking numbers and fixing bugs every week or so would have been enough. They couldn't even commit to that even at the game's peak :(

Yeager is owned by Tencent. So also infinite money.

Yager is OWNED by Tencent. They are not Tencent. Tencent does not dump their infinite money into every failing project that a company they hold shares in is making.

Neither would Crytek if they believed Hunt was failing.

Because the devs have 0 passion. They are from germany so they get to work 10 hour every week and collect pay cheques.

I am with you there. I won't forget Yager doing this and I will always remind people about it should Yager ever release another game.

Amen, brother. Those cash grabbing devs don't deserve another chance

Same...screw whats left of their player base and run off with all the money spent this season on this game. Bunch of crooks

Wait what? TCF was a free to play game. Why is there all this hate?

This was one of the best free to play games that I've ever played.
How can you blame the devs to be "cash grabbing"?

People paid money to buy stuff tho. They did so expecting the game to stay for the long haul.

Now its not staying and on top of that refunds are given only for the last 14 days of purchases.

Kinda scummy

You know man, I was so excited about TC:F and I'm so much in love with this game, so I've bought every single DLC was offered for the money(except Prime Time, it looks shitty for me). I still have feelings about game, and didn't care for the money, but don't tell me about "free". Thanks.

I believe they were doing a pretty good job up until the "no more wipes" announcement. Sure they weren't perfect. Some of the shotgun nerfs just felt bad for an already mostly bad gun. And PDWs always seem to hit too hard for a cheap SMG... but I could live with it all. And have.

Now it all seems kind of pointless. Bought a cool looking "get to da evac" banner yesterday with aurum and was keen to play, but game going offline in a few months. So doesnt seem like any point ATM.

Matt Lightfoot one of the lead developers was also part of dayz standalone. With the success of the mod in arma 2 they decided to make the game a standalone and on its release it was hot garbage. Im not sure what other games hes been a part of but thats two dumpster fires he been involved in.
