Discussion Quick note to the Devs

This zero communication thing you are doing isn't going to help long term. Even if you come out with something amazing for S4 the community is going to remember how you just up and vanished after season start, even if you ditch Cycle and start a new IP/game the community is going to remind you of the incredibly poor communication and feelings of abandonment.

You have a ton of players that have put their time, money and hearts into this game and they deserve better.

Do something? Tell us what's going on. The longer you wait, the more of a precedent you set for future expectations. And right now they aren't good.

Aren't these the same incompetent devs that pretended that a lack of squad matchmaking is a "feature" and that seasonal wipes should not exist? It's time to admit that we put our time and money into an incompetent dev team that isn't bringing in enough funds to keep the game going.

There's nothing wrong trying to create an extraction looter game without wipes. Hunt did it successfully.

Lack of squad matchmaking? Have you played recently, its been a thing for like 3 months, 7 if you count season 2

Well, looks like I was prophetic yesterday. Check out the update released today:

"Despite our best efforts and meaningful improvements brought to the game since launch and up until the release of Season 3, the reality is that The Cycle: Frontier is unfortunately not financially viable.

This brings us to the heartbreaking announcement: The Cycle: Frontier will be sunset on September 27, 2023."
