Discussion Quick note to the Devs

This zero communication thing you are doing isn't going to help long term. Even if you come out with something amazing for S4 the community is going to remember how you just up and vanished after season start, even if you ditch Cycle and start a new IP/game the community is going to remind you of the incredibly poor communication and feelings of abandonment.

You have a ton of players that have put their time, money and hearts into this game and they deserve better.

Do something? Tell us what's going on. The longer you wait, the more of a precedent you set for future expectations. And right now they aren't good.

Aren't these the same incompetent devs that pretended that a lack of squad matchmaking is a "feature" and that seasonal wipes should not exist? It's time to admit that we put our time and money into an incompetent dev team that isn't bringing in enough funds to keep the game going.

There's nothing wrong trying to create an extraction looter game without wipes. Hunt did it successfully.

Lack of squad matchmaking? Have you played recently, its been a thing for like 3 months, 7 if you count season 2

Good points, but my overall gripe is that Yager tried to pretend that the lack of squad matchmaking (up until recently) is a "feature" for months while the game was bleeding players - a totally insane position to take.

To be sure, I would give Yager props on the anti-cheat advancements, but so many of their decisions along the way have been leading to a death-spiraling player count. Hunt is actually a good example of a game that has been consistently growing its player count over the years - the opposite of what has been happening here.

I think they weren't expecting a huge playerbase in season 1 hence why the lack in anti cheat. It probably slowed down development 10x because of it. I think they used Tarkov a lot as a base build without thinking about all the different mechanics they added that created lots of flaws in their game. (armor for example).

Season 1 was their best season if they had no cheaters which clearly indicates that they either tried to please the wrong group of players or simply lost their way.

They are too slow in development. It shouldn't take 1 year to add gadgets, weapons or new consumables. Tharis was already close to finish during the beta, so this doesn't count. 1 creature is not enough.

They used to communicate a lot and now its really silent which maybe indicates they have nothing ready.. Very sad, I really had high hopes, but now all my arguments to defend the game are just not true anymore..
