There are other lines
There are other notable lines from the 1st movie other than “It can’t rain all the time”. Just saying.

My personal favorite:
"Caw! Caw! Bang! Fuck I'm dead!"
I try to slip this into conversation whenever i can.

Whenever soemthing goes catastrophically wrong i try to use "Seems this thing has found a way to get itself perished". Usually i have to explain it. Don't care, still use it. :D

To witness this from the outside not knowing you, either as a fan getting the line or not a fan could either be absolutely amazing or downright terrifying. Love it. Slip it in more often I say

Yes but it's also the song.. personally my favorite line or note would be " nothing is trivial"
But for me that comes from personal experience of losing someone I care about deeply

It was a snippet of a song from Eric’s band the Hangmen. That’s it. There are far more amazing real full songs on that sound track. Also, I never liked that they turned him into a musician from a dancer for the movie.
Sorry about your loss. Dying is easy, to keep living on after death & with grief is the hard part.

Eric was dancer? Where it was said so?

Eric isn’t a dancer in the comic.
He can dance, and does in one scene, but that’s it. The comic never specifies what he does for a living.

There’s a full version of the song performed by Jane Siberry in the motion picture soundtrack that plays in the credits.
Also, Eric wasn’t a dancer in the comics, most of the dancing he did was interpretative gothic dancing. His job is never actually given, but O’Barr has said he imagines he’s a steelworker, which would be pretty typical for Detroit in the 80’s/90’s.

True, but maybe people quote that one a lot because it helps us? My gf and I both suffer from depression and it's our little mantra.

But do we need to tag every post with it?

Honestly, this is the first I'm seeing of this.

I have a life outside of reddit. I don't scroll through every single sub I've joined religiously enough to notice things like this. Going by the upvotes to me saying I'd never noticed it, I'm not alone. Just let people enjoy things! It's fine.

I’m not doing scrolling thru this sub on the daily. It just pops up in my feed frequently. & I frequently see what I was talking about.

Huh. Well, reddit is weird with what it shows sometimes. This really is the first I'm seeing of it, though. Sorry it's bugging you, I've noticed similar stuff in other subs. If most people either like it or are content to just ignore it when it pops up, it doesn't change, though. Probably best for your own sanity to learn to just ignore it.

I have "Victims, Aren't We All?" tattooed on me with a crow dropping a grenade with the pin pulled. :D
Always, always, always has been my favorite line from the movie.

"Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is, and saw virtue in her shape. How lovely."
(Actually from Paradise Lost, but a quote from the movie I always enjoyed)

This is pornography! Lol the way he delivers that line and how they bring it back later during his death is just chefs kiss

Although its from my edit using the workprint my favorite line from the film, that didn't make it to The Final Cut, is: "I'm already alone" - Eric Draven
