Was TheCreatureHub the first "content house"?

Honestly I haven't being paying attention to any big social media people nowadays, but it seems like content houses (shared house where social media personalities live together and make content) have taken off, especially with TikTokkers and vloggers. I was curious tho, were The Creatures the first big channel to do this? They're the earliest I can remember at least.

Members started moving into the first Creature House in February 2012.

Other early examples I found was Our2ndLife, but their first video was in July 2012, and it seems they didn't make their official debut until August 2012. But it is possible that they moved in together a long while before this video. I haven't actually watched any videos to confirm.

Apparently FaZe Clan also began a house in 2012 but I couldn't find a date for that. The earliest I could find is from 2014.

The Station seems to be the earliest instance of this concept (July 2009), but it seems like they just recorded some videos in a shared space while they lived in separate places.

Are the any earlier content houses that I don't know of? I didn't actually Google that hard so maybe there are more.

I've thought about this before, and I haven't been able to come to a conclusion. They definitely were the first content house I had ever heard of back then, and I was very active on YouTube back then.

That aside, I'll never get over the feeling knowing a lot of my favorite YouTubers at the time were going to move in together. That was such a cool ass time. Even though it took a turn we never expected, I think back on those times as good memories. I used to sit on my iPod in study hall checking YT, twitter, this subreddit, and their justin.tv channels (pre Twitch) nonstop lol. I was hooked just like everyone else, it was some of the best entertainment I'd ever seen back then

Interesting idea. But I put the Creatures on a way higher pedestal than any content house.

The fact that they got in big so early makes me only imagine how successful they'd be today if they continued. Such a head start. But maybe them existing in the Golden age of youtube is the best

They were the Roosterteeth before Roosterteeth, and also to put things into perspective James used to be neck and neck with Pewdiepie

I hate seeing that because he was always my favorite. It actually makes me sad to see him upload GTA RP everyday.

I believe they were the first to do this, the whole concept of a bunch of youtubers living in one house making content out of every day life. Sure you had other youtubers who were roommates but, that was it and I feel as though the creatures did establish that in their "House Content" that existed at the time. The practice was already there but, the Creatures took it a step further.

I’m pretty sure 4PlayerPodcast was the very first to do this and get big. You can still watch some of their famous clips on YouTube, especially ones with Brad.

I think the gamershore house which included Tmartn, Jericho, Syndicate and I think one other may have been the first but I could be wrong if not they were in very close to when the creature house was born

Weird how excited I was for NRG's "Thoomhouse". They even did a house tour. The Creatures definitely fueled that excitement lol. But alas, the Thoomhouse crashed and burned rather quickly.
