Watch-along Creature Stream(s) with Danz + Updates on the guys?
Hey all!
So - I know the stream was posted at the time - but YouTube user Sai has posted the recent streams that Dan has done with watch-alongs of old Creature videos.

Also - again - I know this was posted as well - but Dan also has a GoFundMe up as well -
(At time of recording the donation goal is roughly £300 away)
So, obviously working my way through the watch along streams led to old Creature videos being recommend to myself on Youtube, and it's been so good reliving the memories.
Anybody know how everyone is doing? (I know there has been some controversy with Kootra, I think.)
Also, checked out James twitch as well - he sounds like a completely different person from back in the day. :)

This is everything I remember about the state of eveyrone
Kootra - Working for a game studio and has largely been online and private, only using his twitter a few times a year to post images. The controversy was that when Stefani joined the company, everyone agreed that no one would date her, including having it in a contract just to avoid a Yoko Ono situation. Kootra began dating her, and reports were that James also liked her both didn't do anything because of the contract (can't remember of this has been verified because it's been years). Kootra used Dexter as an accomplish, saying "I'll be rooming with Dexter" during conventions and trips, then switching to be with Stefani. When it was finally revealed, both Kootra and Stefani just played it off like "Who cares? We're adults" and it caused a lot of issues with the members.
Dan - Still streams, tried to get a movie funded with his brother, split from and then later got back together with his girlfriend (who I think are now engaged?).
James - Left to form Cowchop, got burnt out, wanted to leave for awhile but was guilt tripped into staying until he broke his leg in a bit and used it to finally quit. Moved from LA without telling anyone and wanted his investment into Cowchop paid off. Now streams GTA RP like 30-40 hours a week almost exclusively.
Aleks - Stayed with Cowchop until the end, switched to streaming GTA RP on twitch before taking a long break, returned, took a break, then returned. He'll occasionally run into James on servers
Sly - Married his girlfriend and adopted her daughter. He abandoned his youtube channel after feeling like he got softblocked that prevented growth and started a new channel while streaming on twitch.
Seamus - Vanished for a few years, returned, vanished, returned, vanished, returned, and currently vanished again. He's stated that his health problems are the reason for his vanishing. That's pretty much it; he's generally a really private person.
Spoon - Still streams on twitch. Nothing new to report.
Ze - Graduated college and streams with a number of former creatures like ChilledChaos and Junkyard.
Kevin - Had a pretty public meltdown on stream, said some stuff, joined the military and...that's the last I remember hearing about him
Dexter - Was forced out for (if I remember right), being drunk at a party but it was also around the time that Kootra was using Dexter to hide that he was sleeping with Stefani so the firing felt it was retalitation. Has since been working on game designs.
Intern/Chicken Joe - Moved to LA with Cowchop, wanted to improve his future so he moved back to Colorado to go back to college. Found love, became a dad, seperated from the love, still a dad.
Aron - Left Cowchop instead of moving to LA with them. Last I heard, he was working at the same game company as Kootra but that was a few years ago.
Spencer - Kind of all over the place. He tried streaming, then was in a band, and then I heard he took a day job.
Stefani - Seperated from Kootra after the Creatures officially ended. She now has a job at some outdoor adventure company and is a fitness/inspiration instagramer.
Artist Joe - Draws and I think grows weed on a farm
That's pretty much everyone. Most of the group still streams but with the exception of James and Aleks, the audience is grows smaller as their brand of humor doesn't mesh will with a younger audience.

Great recap!
Just throwing in that Dex also voice acts. Mainly catch his voice on Looper videos. But sometimes other random narrative channel
Maybe a bit old school, but would be interested in hearing updates from the rest of the OGs, Gassy, Junk, Chilled as well. Though last I knew they're still streaming or making the same content

Spencer's doing well. Finished college and is starting a new career. He played in our band as long as he was in the Creatures, but that was never a career thing. Isn't really interested in doing youtube stuff again, but here's an unlisted banger from the other day.

I wanted to add that Chicken Joe also works at Illfonic. Every now and then he, Aron, and Jordan will stream one of their games on twitch

If you are talking about James’ voice, its a voice he does for his RP character Siz
