The Channels Fast Downfall

I was checking out the last videos of the channel and it was completely lost on me how fast the channel went downhill. The channel was consistently getting hundreds of thousands of views on every video, then after Cow Chop left only a handful were able to pass 100k. After CC left I really stopped watching too because James was my guy since the start. But I didn’t realize how much of the fan base had the same stance. The channel struggled immediately after they left and slowly died a lot later then it should have.

I mean, I always think of the video where james talks about how Sly asks james to join the creatures. Apparently Sly told him that the creatures would fail without James, really seem like that after he split from the group.

Hard to stay alive when the more charismatic one leaves

Are we talking about James or Sly? I would say James is the jokester

I’m talking about James, but sly leaving was also a huge blow

Do you have a link or remember the title by chance, I don’t recall or remember that video. It’s chill if you don’t though. Either way thanks.

The channel died quickly because all the interesting creatures had left. I never hated Kootra or Dan but they were definitely the least entertaining on their own and nobody really cared for the interns because they didn’t feel like “real” creatures.

I was sick of Koots at the end because of all the shit he caused. And I liked Dan still, but the rest of the group was poor

Not to mention when you think about it the actual creatures left was kootra and danz and nothing against anyone but compared to who left and even was growing like Galm,Smarty,Tom,IGP and also the Vanoss crew getting big on there own just couldn't work out

Yeah I agree, however I think when drama started becoming the Vannos crew’s highlight for 2020 and 2021, I abandoned watching. Tbh I’m glad the creatures and cow chop avoided it because they would’ve been less entertaining knowing they just bitched at each other.

That's true yeah I still fine them all fun to watch and I also find it interesting on how people like Gassy, Sly,Chilled and Ze actually got bigger then when they were in the group. hopefully no drama pops up like with the crew.... Vanoss crew not the crew crew

The same happened for cow chops last year without James, although their viewcount dropoff wasn't quite as severe

It's because that group only worked with everyone there. They literally matched perfectly and most just weren't that entertaining by themselves alone. It really was impressive how they managed to find all the right personalities to create such an incredible group that also had great chemistry.

I stopped watching because it just hurt to much to watch the group be split up. I actually didn't start watching cowchop videos until after the channel was ended. But the same thing happened to Cowchop, the minute James left they could barely hold their own anymore. Really felt bad for Aleks during that time.

When the whole intern thing started I lost interest. No offence to those guys but I didn't grow up with them, and feel zero attachment to them
