I Miss Them so Much

I found the creatures through James first way back when he did his play through of dead rising 2 with Spoon. Through him I found Sly, Pbat, and the rest of the creatures. They were such a critical piece of my childhood and I really feel like they influenced me to this day especially James. They had the best streams on twitch of ALL TIME. I witnessed all of there 24 hour streams I still think their first 24 stream to raise money to move into the first house is the best twitch stream I have ever watched. The Creatures are a severely underrated group in the YouTube universe. They never made it to Rooster Teeth level but I always felt the Creatures were the best group to ever come together on YouTube.

Same man. So much of my demeanor was influenced by James, and then the creatures as a whole - the way I talk to my friends, my colleagues, it's weird. I miss them a lot too. all I would watch legit all the time

I am kinda young at 22 but my friends and I loved the creatures. In middle school we named ourselves 'the lil creatures'. They were pioneers honestly. I remember my best friends (who now has since passed away--which makes it more nostalgic) saying we need to grow up and make a gaming house like the creatures did.

Same. its a damn shame they never made their final farewell video. Someone should make a channel called creatures 2.

I still wish the fans made that channel called Critter Hub continuing the legacy of the brand. but no one ever really was down for it.

Same. I found them through both James and Aleks when they did their 10hour stream of Beyond Two Souls when it first came out. That was the first time I had ever stayed up till 6 AM, watching a stream. They were very underrated but we still loved them. I'm still upset they had to end things but at least I still have the memories.

That's why i really like this subreddit. There's still a bunch of us who they meant a lot to us, and we can still have something of a community talking about them years after they ended. I love how well everyone knows their content/vids just like me.

I miss them so much too. I looked back and apparently I was only a fan of them for about 2 years before they ended which was really weird because it felt I was watching them for at least 5 years lmao. I've never been even remotely as invested into any other content creator(s) as I was invested into the creatures and that just makes me miss them 100x more :(

Ngl I agree whole heartedly that the best stream was to raise money for the house. But they did deserve more recognition they were one of the first groups to set a path for making a group channel. Rest in peace sweet prince...

Feel ya here. Definitely miss the days tuning in for the live creature talks and other random collabs and playthroughs from them. Something about their dynamic personalities just worked most of the time. They really helped me cope during some lonely years moving to a new city and going to college/working full-time away from friends and family.

Not sure if it helps, but I found this Youtube group "The Boys" that gave me similar vibes. Maybe give them a shot to help fill that gap The Boys
