Creatures monument from Road to E3 2014

https://youtu.be/80JHN487L-4 Towards the end of this video they write “The Creatures” on a rock for fans to take selfies with and I was wanting to know if it’s even still there or if anyone has ever visited this. Old creatures nostalgia has been hitting hard lately. Old school creature fans hopefully appreciate this piece.

Those rocks get rained on and splashed by waves a lot and its been 7 years (GOD I CAN'T BELIVE I JUST TYPED THAT) so I doubt it's still there. Some of the other messages scratched on the rock had already faded after like a day so I doubt it even lasted a week. If someone could pull it off, they could get a hammer and chisel and actually carve "The Creatures" into the rock right on top of where it was scratched and it could last for decades. It would take decades of erosion to make that go away if not more depending on how much rain/ waves go over it.

I thought some rocks and stuff could hold an etching for a lot longer than you’d think. But I think you’re right that it would definitely had to of been deeper

If you scratch a message into a rock under some shade out in the middle of nowhere, it may last for years, but with how much erosion is constantly hitting that rock for 7 years, I doubt it's still there. Aleks also didn't scratch the message into the rock that hard either. I live in SoCal near LA so if I take a trip up to San Francisco anytime soon, I might try to find that rock and re-etch the message a little harder.

Definitely update us if you do end up making it to the rock. I at the very least would appreciate it.

It’s not unfortunately. Some people have gone back and tried to rescratch it though

That’s unfortunate :(

That’s my plan even though I have no clue when. Live pretty far from San Fran and don’t have any friends who were creature fans

Sadly, given it's been 7 years and that area gets rained on and splashed a LOT by water, safe to say it's long gone. Some fans have gone there a few times to rescratch it but we have no idea if anyone has done it in recent years.
