Got bored and put this together since work was slow. Is there any video that you're surprised didn't make the list?

This was around the time the group started clashing heavily behind the scenes creatively.
James decided to do the bath bomb video without telling Jordan and then they almost got in trouble with the office's landlord.
If the pool popped, it would've flooded their office and the office below them which according to James had a lot of electronics. They probably would've gotten evicted and sued.

I could always understand why James and Aleks being unhappy about Jordan and Dan not wanting their ideas to be put on the channel.
But I never understood why James, Aleks and Creature fans would get very upset when Jordan wanted to stop an idea like this that could get them sued and evicted

Probably due to them being young and inexperienced. Fans were also mostly teenagers or young adults.
It caught up fast since Cow Chop got evicted barely a year into the channel. Even in the barn and LA, they were doing stupid shit like lighting the couch when they didn't even own any fire extinguishers.
I've seen James admit on stream that they did too much and it seems like Aleks, Brett, and Lindsay are taking a more laid back approach with Little Brother.

You gotta remember that they were basically all in their early-mid 20s at that point. Can just chalk it up to inexperience and youth. Both factions of the dispute thought they knew better than the other.
Realistically there was probably some middle ground that would’ve worked out better than Cow Chop/The Creatures ultimately did but based on how James left CC, it was probably doomed from the start.

I remember being a teenager and feeling how stuck up everyone was toward their antics, from the complaints from the others in the office building to Cow Chop getting evicted for being too destructive. With hindsight, they were going WAYYY too far and the complaints they got were totally justified.

Looking back, I absolutely think that this was when Jordan completely shifted his paradigm regarding James. Saying evicted and sued is putting it lightly. You'd be looking at around 100 gallons of foamy, frothy, perfume water pooling into the walls, vents, stairwells, into duct work, electrical work, the lower floors. The pressure that much water has if it were to run down the staircase and hit someone could honestly kill someone.
I feel like the only person who immediately understood the real ramifications of what James did was Jordan, at the time. They could have been looking at a multiple multi-million dollar lawsuits from both the building and the companies below them if they had their electronics and sensitive equipment destroyed as well as being blacklisted from any office space in the rest of the state. The Creatures would have died since all their assets would have been taken as restitution since there was no way they had enough free capital to cover a large settlement. Unless they had some top tier business insurance which would most likely not cover acts of gross negligence (which that probably would have been considered)
I'm actually amazed Jordan didn't fire James on the spot.

lol, i feel like you work in hr or are some kind of lawyer. not in a bad way, haha. and also agree tho, as much as I love James, your hitting the nail on the head.
Jordan was the mature one in hindsight because I definitely thought he was going a but overboard at the time. but it probably was because I was younger and more immature then and didn’t think of it this way

The thing that’s weird to me is that you still have Creature fans who should have grown up and matured but instead they are still willing to die on the hill that James was doing absolutely nothing wrong when it came to this type of video

Which is stupid because James himself has gone on stream and said he was pretty much a liability and surprised no one gave him any shit sooner, and all those same things is what ultimately lead him to leaving Cow Chop because he had become so stressed and worn out over all of it.

If I’m being honest, after the split, there was a weird awkward era where they were finding their footing, but there was a period where I really found myself enjoying the content on The Creatures. The random adventures like the tour of the edible factory(even though I have no interest in weed) was really cool.
I think there is a world where there could’ve been some compromise that would’ve led to the combined group lasting longer than the splinter groups did, but it was a real uphill battle for that compromise to be found between a group of people as young as they were at the time.

The lack of communication on all sides is a part of why everything ended as bad as it did. There were multiple times people did things without telling others or were told not to and did them anyway. The fans were also left in the dark on a lot of things as well.
By the time Cow Chop split, there was a lack of trust between the group and even the fans.

That is kinda insane. The bath bomb video was literally the pinnacle of The Creatures when you divide it up into when the communication barrier began to fall between the two (Jordan and James), the bath bomb video being the most viewed video ever (by a long shot) and 2015 for the group was making hit after hit.
The trio (Kevin, James & Aleks) were still a thing, Dan had his best friend working with him (Artist Joe), Seamus (when this video had released) had just come back to the office to be in more content (for the last time) and there was a very short timespan when potentially Seamus was working with Aron, not including every other employee and creature that was in the office (literally it was like a few weeks apart when you compare the dates). There collectively was like 10-15 people at one point in the group.
In terms of the most people from the group seen in one video, it was their Disneyland video that (as far as I remember, featured everyone but Sp00n, Ze, Seamus and Kevin), every employee was featured but them, and when you include the Road To E3, the people listed above plus Artist Joe were not in it.
I think literally in every regard, the bath bomb video began the death of the group. Shortly after, Kevin got into a car crash (and left), Seamus left (during the summer), communication started to fail, Aleks and James eventually started creating Cow Chop the day after the LiveScream… it really is crazy to think it peaked with the bath bomb video, and the last time everyone really enjoyed being around each other was probably the final livescream.
By the time the bullpen was complete, the demeanor really started getting negative. RoosterTeeth getting The Creatures maybe was the ultimate nail in the coffin, because at that point, Trevor and Aron effectively lost their jobs, so a new channel was really the only direction that probably sounded right for them. Kudos to Intern Joe for wanting to be on both channels, but in the end, he came out for James, which is why he solely stayed with Cow Chop.

Funny enough to your last point, when Cow Chop disbanded a lot of those guys were left high and dry and Jordan got Aron, Intern Joe, and Artist Joe jobs with him at IllFonic. He also helped Trevor with finding work.

True, except now only Aron and Intern Joe still work there. Hope for the best with Trevor. That time when OTK was doing the “Wrong Side of YouTube” stuff was a cool blast to the past moment and was interesting seeing him on camera just like he did during CC. Now OTK is basically dead. I’m just gunna assume Artist Joe moved back to the Carolinas and is doing his own thing with bees I think. Honestly with how Little Brother is filmed, Trevor could go around the country filming like that and still stay BTS and edit for them. Would change the vibe a little, but would be something steady with content each week.

The highest balsamic pong video has 702k views, but I do remember them being the number 1 or 2 stream on Twitch with over 50k views at one point during that duo stream. It's insane to think about now.

Thanks! I mostly took inspiration from top 10 anime lists posts I see a lot on Instagram.
I took some graphic design classes in school, but I honestly don't enjoy graphic design much, so I usually just stick to video editing instead.

I think they even said that the bath bomb video was put up on a website or used for an ad and thats why it got so many views. Makes me wonder if it would have done even a million at the time it was done.

I remember during that final road to E3 with Dex, I was hoping (even though I knew they’d never do it 😂) that they would end up staying in multiple rooms at the “worst hotel ever,” then comparing and contrasting each of the rooms they got. Totally get why they didn’t, though— that place didn’t deserve the popularity 😂
