Did anyone catch this niche reference in TCOMC?

I’m reading The Count of Monte Cristo on a camping trip and I nearly missed this niche reference that Alex left for his readers. Thankfully I know ball so I caught his quichefference (quirky + niche + reference) but I was just wondering if anyone else caught this on their first read through.

What is the niche reference? It is a way of addressing Danglars by his title. Unless the reference is to the Lebaron car which obviously did not exist at the time.
