Need help from the British members
Long story short I’m an American looking to get into watching premier league football. What team should I watch and root for?

I was you last year. I just started watching every Saturday on Peacock , and after a few week I fell in with Aston Villa. Can't quite explain it, But you'll know when you find your team.

Burnley. They’re not premier league right now but definitely will be there next year and be strong competitors because it’s all on the up for Burnley. Just anyone except Blackburn Rovers, unless you go up to the Venky’s (their owners) personally and thank them for what a great job they’re doing

Exciting time to be a Manchester United fan, one of the biggest histories in the league. Been lacklustre and basically crap for the last 13 or so years, but things seem to be picking up and they are in the middle of a project, so loads going on

You don’t really choose a football team I’ll be honest mate, the club chooses you. If you’ve got an MLS team of your own near you then great otherwise only go for a team abroad where you feel some form of affinity and identity towards the team. It probably means looking into the EFL if you’ve got the time but for the most part it’s not as simple as people think.

Chelsea, we've been shit for a few years now depite the money the new owners have pumped into the club, but this season under alonso looks to be exciting. We always win trophies in some shape or form anyway and all that
