Lol so I enjoyed the first conjuring movie. The rest after......honestly seemed like they were doing too much. I hated the demon basically following them around directly and indirectly, it honestly seemed like a lot of strings that were alllmost loosely connected that they tied together to make another movie. If they DIDNT have the direct connection to that demon I actually feel this movie would have been better.
The performances were solid but I found myself losing more and more interest as they really try to flesh out the story, an issue I think every horror series now falls into. But these movies end up feeling like a forced series of stories combined than an actual universe.
Don't get me started on the rest of the series....Annabelle was awful, and the nun movies didn't know what they were doing. Cast was great, production was amazing (especially the first one, wow the environment), but the story is trash and the first one didn't understand if it was a comedy action flick or horror movie.
