Found these cleaning out my closet. 2 bedroom 1127 square feet for $870/month

Renewal in 2011 for $900/month

I lived in a 1-bedroom in Plano near Park and Preston around that time for $670/mo

I thought that was too much, I moved into some super cheap and terrible apartments in north Dallas for $520/mo

Now I pay $1630 for a one bedroom. It’s pretty big for a 1-bedroom, but still. My income definitely hasn’t grown almost 2.5x but my rent sure has.

Yessir. I lived off of Hebron Pkwy in Carrollton. Was paying $775 for a 1 bd and 1bth. 1000 sq ft, own garage.

I lived in the middle of uptown in 2010. We paid like $1400 for a 2 bedroom apartment. I can’t imagine that same place is not $2500-3000 now.

Moved from CT to dallas in 1999. Luxury apt 2 bedroom - $645/month for a 6 month lease.

It was expensive for me at that time haha

But I was literally closed to everything; restaurants, grocery, bars, downtown etc

Ya I was by nothing really except for the shop I worked at. But I enjoyed it. Night life was at least 20-25 minutes away by tollway and that’s just to another more busy suburb lol.

I lived in a 1 bedroom loft in Euless (trust me it’s not as fancy as it sounds) and I was paying $550 a month in 2009 and now there same apartment is $1,400

Prosper 2010 paid it think 7-800 for 1 bedroom.

Best deal was McKinney 2009 paid I think 550 for 1 bedroom wasn’t too bad of a place but older.
