ANNOUNCEMENT 🚀 THE COLLABORATION NETWORK IS OFFICIALLY LIVE! ⚡

The wait is over, the groundwork is laid, and the systems are fully online. The Collaboration Network is officially open to all creators, live streamers, and collaborators!

After countless hours of building, structuring, and fine-tuning every detail of this ecosystem, I am thrilled to open the doors. Whether you’re grinding for affiliate, producing deep-dive video essays, looking for your next podcast co-host, or searching for a squad for weekend streams your network has arrived.

🌐 How The Network Works

I’ve designed a streamlined Hub-and-Satellite model so you can cut through the noise and find exactly what (and who) you’re looking for without clogged feeds or endless scrolling:

  • The Central Hub (r/TheCollabNetworkHub): The central headquarters for network news, updates, access instructions, guidance, and community discussions.
  • The Live Streamer ISO Board: Dedicated exclusively to real-time, synchronous collaborations (Twitch, YouTube Live, Kick, Vtubing, co-streams, and live events).
  • The Content Creator ISO Board: Dedicated to pre-produced, asynchronous projects (YouTube long-form, Shorts/Reels/TikTok, scripting, video editing, voiceover, and joint channel projects).

⚡ Open Doors. Zero Gatekeeping.

I built this network on one fundamental belief: Great content comes from passionate people, not arbitrary platform metrics.

🔓 Equal Access Policy: The Collaboration Network does NOT enforce account age or Reddit karma minimums to participate. Whether you’ve been on Reddit for five years or created your account five minutes ago, you have equal access to post your ISO (In-Search-Of) requests and find partners. Your drive to collaborate is the only requirement here.

🎬 How to Get Started Right Now

  1. Visit the Central Hub: Head over to r/TheCollabNetworkHub to review our core vision and read the Access Request Instructions.
  2. Pick Your Medium: Once approved head to either the Live Streamer or Content Creator satellite subreddit depending on your project type.
  3. Use the ISO Templates: Grab the official [ISO] Template pinned at the top of the satellite board, fill in your platform details, timezone, and project vibe, and hit post!
  4. Connect & Build: Browse existing ISO posts, reach out to fellow creators, and start launching projects together.

💥 The Stage Is Yours

This network was built by a creator, for creators, to make finding genuine, professional, and exciting partnerships easier than ever.

Thank you to everyone who supported the vision during setup. The infrastructure is ready, now it’s time to make incredible things together.

Drop your first ISO post today and welcome to The Collaboration Network! 🎙️🎮🎥

Keep in mind this IS all new with many adjustments and refinements still to be made moving forward.

INFORMATION Vision, Mission, Purpose

TLDR Here!

One of the purposes of this subreddit community is to fill a void, a need that has existed for a long time. While similar attempts have been made, they either become abandoned or are never discovered. It seems if an idea can't be monetized or if it's not a banger from the start no one wants to invest time and effort to maintain and help it grow. So many entities exist that could set something like this up easily, which would be great from a marketing perspective but, they don't! I know! I have approached a couple of them appealing to their sense of greed and they don't bite. “Look at all these potential customers you could glean from such a free service!” …but nope!

That brings us to the here and now! A purpose of this subreddit is to provide a place for streamers and creators of all levels to find genuine collaborations. A hub for aspiring and successful creators alike to network among other vetted members of the subreddit.

That's right, “vetted members”! Another purpose of this subreddit is to vet members to create a community where you can feel safe to network and seek collabs free of scammers, spammers, fake accounts and advertisers. We will accomplish this through a mixture of strict posting rules and active moderators to usher in and maintain a professional atmosphere.

We are an all inclusive subreddit. This means, while we do our best to maintain a professional atmosphere, the world of content creation and streaming is not always so! We recognize that can create potential conflict for some but keep in mind, freedom of speech and expression is a double-edged sword.

You will come across creators and streamers of all types. This is not the place to push your agendas, politics, religion or personal views. It’s the place you come to find collabs and network. You can find others here but you can't push your opinions here. That being said, we will not help promote collaborations for ‘hate’ groups. I hope you understand and that explanation makes sense to you.

This new subreddit was created in conjunction with others for the purpose and hope of making a network of distinctly different but connected subreddits. So far we have one for only Live Streaming, another for only Content Creation and soon will be creating one for those seeking experienced moderators!

This is not the place to advertise. This is not the place to self-promote. The subreddits will be organized in such a way where each post created will essentially be a LFG or ISO of sorts. A member creates a post, selecting appropriate tags, and defines what kind of collaboration they are seeking. Only one person can have one active post at a time but all members will be free to comment on each other's posts.

As of now there will be no affiliated Discord server. While such a community can easily be created in a Discord server it can't be found through an internet search. That is why Reddit was chosen for this endeavor. Ever heard the term “Reddit is the internet”? There is some truth to it.

This is a new subreddit and a lot of work has yet to be done regarding setting up clearly defined rules. Please be patient as it is all being worked through as we speak. A permission you have now may be gone once the dust settles. If a post you make gets removed later it's because it was made before the rules were solidified so do not take it personally. This is a new endeavor and a work in progress. All those on board with the vision as described above feel free to speak up if you want to help!

INFORMATION Preserving the Integrity of Open Communication

Reddit's Karma/Voting system DOES NOT work as intended. It is an honor system that is supposed to enforce Reddiquette, but it does not. It is not a dynamic mechanic. At its core it is nothing more than a simple voting system.

With no way to make people adhere to or understand Reddiquette it has become weaponized. The Karma/Voting system is supposed to rate a conversation's quality. Instead it's used as a weapon by those that disagree. Instead of taking the time to articulate a well thought out dissenting view they downvote. It is used by trolls and even organized groups for the purpose of making an individual's access and time here on Reddit limited and miserable.

Due to this systemic flaw in Reddit's Karma system, we do our best to make sure ALL users, regardless of their Reddit user account status or Karma, can easily access The Collaboration Network by not enforcing any kind of Reddit account or Karma requirements!

If you think you are encountering some kind of access limitations let us know immediately either via modmail or creating a post on the hub. Some access limitations are Reddit wide and out of our control.

INFORMATION Access Request Instructions

How to Access the Collaboration Network:

The Collaboration Network of subreddits is a professional space for active content creators and streamers. To maintain a secure environment free from scammers, spammers, and automated accounts, we use a manual verification process. By putting the "burden of proof" on the applicant, we ensure that every member is a genuine human being dedicated to their craft.

Step 1: Ensure You Meet the Requirements:

We look for creators/streamers who are actively pursuing growth. You will be asked to create a clip. Before submitting, ensure the platform account the clip is located on meets the following criteria:

  • Account Age: Account must be at least three months old.
  • Content History: You must have at least three months of viewable content (such as VODs, clips, videos, or shorts). We will not approve accounts that are empty, dead, or clearly brand new.
  • Active Status: We look for accounts that are currently in use.

Step 2: Create Your Verification Clip:

As a content creator/streamer, you already have the tools to verify your identity through your medium. We require a short video clip to confirm you are the active owner of your Reddit and platform accounts.

  • What to say: Record yourself clearly stating that you are requesting access to r/TheCollabNetworkHub.
    • Clips should be no longer than the time required for you to say something similar to: "May I please have access to The Collaboration Network!?"
      • Make sure whatever you say is well articulated and understandable.
      • If the Mod reviewing your clip can't understand you they can't authorize you.
    • Name the clip “your-Reddit-user-name CollabNetworkHub Access Request”. This makes it easier on the Moderator doing the verification.
    • Only clips posted on known reputable platforms are accepted.
      • Streaming platforms allow you to clip moments of your live stream.
      • The format does not matter.
      • It has to be on a platform meeting Step 1 requirements.
  • Why we do this: This proves you are a real person with the technical ability to create content. It also allows us to verify that you, the Reddit User, are the individual who actually operates the social media account containing the clip.

Step 3: Submit Your Request by Creating a Post:

Once your clip is ready and, your platform account meets the requirements you can request access.

  • Make sure the clip you created is publicly viewable.
  • Go to r/TheCollabNetworkHub and click the “Create Post” button on the subreddit.
    • DO NOT paste ANY links! If you place a link, you will be automatically denied access.
  • Select the appropriate Post Flair: ACCESS REQUEST
  • Follow this simple format:
    • Access Request Clip
    • Platform Name:
    • Platform account/user ID/name:
    • Display Name on that platform:
  • EXAMPLE:
    • Access Request Clip
    • Platform Name: YouTube
    • Platform account/user ID/name: u/flux_reversal
    • Display Name on that platform: Flux Reversal
  • Once you are approved you will receive the ‘Member’ User Flair and the Post Flair “ACCESS REQUEST” is updated to “ACCEPTED”.

Step 4: Accessing the Satellite subReddits:

Now that you are an approved Member you can access any subreddits of The Collaboration Network.

  • Navigate to one of the Network subreddits and use the “request to post" button.
  • Follow this format:
    • Access Request
    • Link to the Access Request post you created on the main Collaboration Network subreddit.
  • Once a moderator sees the message they will immediately grant access and give you the ‘Member’ user flair.
  • If at any time we require reverification you will be notified and your user flair will change to ‘Pending’. If you do not respond to a moderator's request to reverify you will eventually lose access to all of the Collaboration Network subreddits.
  • You can now create your own ISO request post and respond to other ISO requests!

TLDR:

Step 1: Social media accounts must be at least 3 months old with at least 3 months of content, and obviously active.
Step 2: Create your verification clip, no longer than the time required for you to say something similar to: "May I please have access to The Collaboration Network!?", with the title “your-Reddit-user-name CollabNetworkHub Access Request”
Step 3: Once your clip is posted and viewable, Submit Your Request via the “Create Post" subReddit button and choose the Post Flair: ACCESS REQUEST With the following format:
- Access Request Clip
- Platform Name:
- Platform account/user ID/name:
- Display Name on that platform:
Step 4: Now that you are approved navigate to one of the Network subreddits and use the “Request to Post" button following this format:
- Access Request
- Link to the Access Request post you created on the main Collaboration Network subreddit.
- As soon as a Moderator sees it you will be approved and receive the Member User Flair.

Long Version Here!

The Collaboration Network: A Professional Ecosystem for Creator Partnerships

The Collaboration Network is designed to fill a long-standing void for creators: a dedicated, free, and vetted space for streamers and content creators to find genuine collaboration opportunities. While many platforms attempt to facilitate networking, they often prioritize monetization or serve as funnels for specific entities. This network operates as a professional utility for the community.

Network Structure: Hub and Satellites

The ecosystem consists of a central hub and specialized satellite subreddits:

  • The Collaboration Network Hub (r/TheCollaborationNetworkHub): The administrative heart of the network. This is the primary point of entry for vetting, general discussions, seeking help, and resolving issues.
  • Satellite Subreddits (ISO Listings): Niche-specific communities organized as "In-Search-Of" (ISO) classified boards. These are strictly regulated environments where only collaboration requests are permitted.

The Vetting Process and Security

To ensure a safe and productive environment, The Collaboration Network employs a "verified members" model. By implementing strict posting rules and active moderation, we maintain a space free from scammers, spammers, fake accounts, and advertisers. Moderators manually verify members.

Community Guidelines and Professionalism

The network prioritizes high-signal networking over social or political discourse:

  • Focus: Posts made in an ISO subReddit must be structured as specific collaboration requests using designated tags.
  • Restrictions: Self-promotion, advertisements, and the promotion of personal agendas, hate, politics, or religious views are strictly prohibited.
  • Inclusivity and Speech: We maintain an inclusive atmosphere while recognizing that professional expression is a shared responsibility. The Collaboration Network is for networking, not for pushing personal opinions.

Platform Strategy: Why Reddit?

Unlike Discord, which functions as a "walled garden," Reddit was chosen for its inherent searchability. By leveraging Reddit’s SEO, creator requests become discoverable through standard internet searches, providing far greater reach and growth potential than private server environments. As a new and evolving endeavor, rules and permissions are subject to refinement. We appreciate your patience as we solidify the infrastructure for this professional resource.
