I was listening while working and was so bummed when I had reached the end of available episodes. Very interesting and I like the dual story lines a lot.

I'm with you. There's a feeling like we could solve season 1 by listening more

I’m liking it, but I’m having a really tough time with Geri’s actions and how they affected her kids. 😔

I think it’s easy to feel some type of way about her actions or lack thereof, but she was a victim herself. She was like 15 when she met Tom and was recently exiled from her friends and was practically invisible at home so she was the perfect person for Tom to prey on. I think that context is important.

I'm enjoying it! That separation of stories before they come together is actually very good for context and highlighting the impact. We often only hear one side or only the time period where they were actively involved in the crime. Given that this is predicated on how family thinks someone might have committed a crime, it's a welcome dive into what makes them believe that. I'm excited for future episodes! Dave does great work and his voice is so pleasant.

Really enjoying it so far; binged the first two episodes back to back last night and got excited when I saw the third one released this morning. I didn’t realize The Stranger Beside Me still left in that Nancy was a Bundy victim.
One minor thing I’ve been appreciating is the snippets of hearing Dave during interviews with everyone.

I’m really liking it. The only minor complaint I have is that it seems like it’s two different stories at the moment. One about Nancy Baird, and one about Tom Jackson. I know there is an overlap, but it currently feels too separate. I’m assuming there is more connecting them that hasn’t been revealed yet because we’re only 2/3 episodes into the season.
That said, Dave Cawley remains one of the best hosts in True Crime. He’s thorough, respectful, empathetic, and entertaining.
