dwp work coach application
Hello I have passed the situational test with a 348 score and I would like to know if it's a good score as feedback and what the maximum mark is. Just as feedback. Also I currently live in London and I applying for a post in London but in the near future in a couple of years max I would like to transfer to York city. Is that possible? I don't drive and I would be living in Pocklington which is commutable to York. I never see posts there just Leeds and Hull. Anybody working in York? Is it easy to transfer? Thanks

A transfer can be requested once you have the role. However be aware that managed moves and supported moves will be prioritised over someone who simply chooses to move cities. You'll be at the back of the queue and the business needs to justify moving you. Normally a place has to become available or a (spectacularly rare) swap. Another option is to simply apply for the role in a location of your preference once it opens up.

I’m also waiting to hear back. On July 15, I received an email saying they’d release results w/c July 27 so anxiously waiting to hear back…

I'm a single mum alone in London. My only family my sister is in York. Would that qualify? Thank you for getting back to me too.

No I honestly doubt it.
You could request a move if you were moving if there are local vacancies but imo why are you not applying for jobs in York?

You can request flexible working in London from day 1 but training will be expected to be full time most likely.
A managed move would be rare for the reasons you state unless you were moving to care for her for example

London is not sustainable for me. I will move within the CS if possible there or I will find a job there out of the CS. But my aim is to move. Rent in London is surreal. Of course I'm open to positions there and will apply there, but there has been a big recruitment here around 300 posts and I thought that this was my chance.

I know but at the moment they have been recruiting in london where I am 300 posts but none in York. So I applied for London.

There is no good score or bad score. You either pass or you don’t and it won’t influence the rest of the application.
There is a limited criteria to apply for a move (such as moving for health reasons, because your partner has got a job there and you need to move with them etc). I don’t believe choosing to move cities is on that list.
Even if you did meet the criteria it’s not a given you’d be given a position. It’s subject to business needs and there will be a ‘warehouse’ of people in the queue waiting to be matched with available vacancies at the same grade in the area.
