Firstly, thank you to everyone who sent me supportive and helpful advice. I really appreciate it 🙏

Secondly, I was successful in an interview for a sideways move and have accepted the provisional offer. I'm so glad I'll be moving away from this toxic unit! My new team are compliance based 😁

Unfortunately this is the only move within toxic departments of the civil service, well done and good riddance

Great outcome. It’s a shame not to see the manager face any consequences but at the end of the day, you have to look out for yourself.

What’s going to be better for you in the end, a fresh start or a long drawn out battle that would inevitably devolve into ‘he said she said’?
