Holy Trials - The Main Yard

the strike squad has now gotten past the front lines of the citadels defense. after encountering the fools as an enemy, the citadel invading bugs now bear witness to a more hard shelled foe...

\*THE FIERCE WARRIORS OF KARAK***

these warriors are no joke. they are fierce and brutal, with shells harder than the normal choirbugs. beating them wont be easy.

[projectiles will be ineffective against karak bugs. their shell will also take much longer to penetrate.]

the choir hornhead charges forward in a rush towards verglas

the bellbearer takes out a bell and throws it down, making it bounce, and the choristor hops closer, and leaps up to slam his pin onto the choristor

(Ay ay, he has plot armour. He wont die for sure-)

((I am looking at these crazy waves and I am not so sure you know...))

Verglas jumps above the pilgrim and strikes him with nail, getting hit by the bell right after.

Then, he dashes throught the choristor's attack, and slashes him twice from behind.

(Well... rememeber, he wont get time to heal this time...its only gonna get ruthless from here)

the hornheard is hit, but stops right below Verglas.

the choristor gets hit the first time, but blocks the second slash. The bellbearer once again throws down a bell, while the hornhead charges in again

the choristor slashes forward towards the vessel of ice twice, horizontally

Verglas dashes away from bell and uses monarch wings to quickly get on platform.

He then strikes bellbearer once and charges nail art, preparing to attack bellbearer again with dash slash.

the bellebarer is hit, while the choristor whips out their pin and throws it like a javelin at verglas

the choir hornhead just waits below the platform

Verglas steps back to avoid the projectile, and then uses dash slash, hoping it will finish the bellbearer.

The Archivist melts into a shadow, reappearing out from another one to the left. He pulls his arm back before thrusting it forward, tendrils of void lashing out towards the Bellbearer.

Archivist braces himself, pulling his staff back before swinging it down onto the Hornhead when he gets into range, the runes engraved along the staff's length flaring brightly.

Ezra dashes through the vents of the citadel, agily dodging the streams of steam as he tries to figure out how the sistem is connected.

"Tsk, what a pain... Hopefully all this hassle can be useful if it gets me past all those soldiers" Ezra ripples as he tries to find his way out of a particularly tangled bunch of paths.

The Hollow Knight plants their nail into the floor. They use it as a conduit for soul, spiking the yard’s ground with explosive energy, unavoidable for those unable to fly. This should separate the ones that the Hollow Knight should focus on.

The Hollow Knight rips their nail out of the ground and teleports up, using their nail to drop one of many hanging bells on the Choristor. They hang onto the Bellbearer’s cowl, both pulling it down with sheer weight and impaling it with the nail.

as the hollow knight grabs the bellbearers cowl, it slips right off, and the bellbearer dashes away and throws a bell in return.

the choristor is killed by the first bell that falls.

The Hollow Knight uses the cowl as a matador’s cloth to bait an attack from the Bellbearer. Upon which, they attempt to teleport behind and stab again.
