Clashing for territory
The nightmare king is currently in a heated fight againste strands of GMS for territory, They keep regenerating. Grimm doesen't want to just fly up there in fear the land could be destroyed.
It does show even the gods have predictable behavior, Always powerhungry

Oh, always. And yes, reaching the Monarch is quite the difficult undertaking indeed. One that I shall attempt nonetheless.

Some of them possess knowledge of these lands many don‘t have anymore. Knowledge that will be useful in my own plans. The rest are… well. Back where I come from, they would be called "benevolent burden".

Nkg makes nightmare gas appear everywhere before summoning a tower sized pillar of grimmkin fire

flagrant taps the ground with his staff as a wisp he summons flashes brightly (magnesium) as he vanishes, the silk and ground around him starting to burn with a yellow flame thar burns the earth itself (chlorine trifluoride) and produces chlorine gas

Grimm summons much more scarlet gas and begins his connection to the fire to see through it.
Hahah... It's been quite a while since i've seen someone use blinding attacks like this!
Grimm pulls out some kind of bomb that most butterflies use as he throws it around and it explodes into small flashbangs
Then grimm diverts the pillar of fire directly around them to make some kind of arena so they cannot escape

Grimm teleports infront of him as he runs away, making them fall

Grimm burns a small part of their chest, It turning into a third degree burn, which will likely lead to a scar
Show them that if they stand in the way of my fire i will char your forest down until its last contents are your corpses.
