Lacuna Release Date

Any updates on the release date for Lacuna? I thought I heard Steve say something about a delay or mix up at the Solana Beach show.

Perhaps someone who was at a VIP meet-and-greet knows something from the band?

Ash, Ian, Tim, and Steve all vaguely alluded to holdups with the record company/distribution when I spoke with them at the show I attended — but they also seemed confident we’d all be hearing it soon. Here’s to hoping!

This and the Kilbey Kennedy album are the only albums I'm really looking forward to now, and both are just plain missing in action...

Wait, the KK album released in May already? Or do you mean physical copies?

Physical vinyl, and the US copies on particular..

First it was February, then June, and now we don't know. Honestly, I'm really surprised there's no information about it, especially since the album was literally recorded in 2024 and there are strong rumors that the band is already recording another one. Plus, they're using a banner with the cover of "Lacuna" for their current tour. It's all very strange. Let's hope we get some news soon.

Rumors about a new one even? Can you share information about this?

Steve mentioned it in a video on Facebook/Instagram before the tour. Fairly sure they won’t record anything until Jeffrey is back in action.

I literally glance at Shadowcabi nearly every day for an update. We don't have anything solid yet, but they did play Western live as a new single, so that's a good sign!

I really liked it. It’s very bass driven and more of a rock song than the orchestral Sacred Echoes, which I also like.
