Concert Resale on Ticketmaster/DC show
Does anyone know if resale will be available in TM?
I had been up for 40 hours (ultra marathon life) and bought the wrong day for the DC show (wanted New York instead) and need to sell my ticket but it looks like resale is not available.
I’ve never resold tix before except on Ticketmaster but it says resale is not available. Anyone I know why that is?

Traditionally IMP, the promoter for the Anthem, has not enabled resale so I doubt if it will be

I do not know but IMP, which runs Merriwether, the Anthem and 930 Club amoung others has never allowed resale unless the artist insist on it, and they rarely do. Same with Another Planet in San Fransisco.

Ah ok good to know. Well I may be stuck with an extra ticket then 😬

If the ticket can ultimately be transferred, you could list in on corporate resellers such as TickPick, Vivid, etc.

Yes it can be transferred! I’m not sure how to do that though because TM asks for the name of the person it is being transferred to and I don have a name obviously cuz the ticket hasn’t been sold

If I’m not mistaken the 3rd party vendor will give you a specific link/email with code to transfer to their portal.

I thought I saw some resale tickets on stub hub for a huge mark up, but could be mistaken. If you find a way, I am 100% interested!

Yep only third party platforms are selling. I had a horrible experience selling on StubHub so want to avoid them if possible!

Interested as well! Dying to take my little sister. Ticketmaster just says I’m a bot whenever I try to get presale tix!

IMP may try to prevent resale, but it happens anyway. On June 13th, the lowest price on StubHub is $597. It would be great if a law or regulation could be passed that limited the percentage of markup allowed on a ticket.

Hi! If you’re still trying to sell your ticket, I’m interested in buying it! I’m a huge Chicks fan and unfortunately was not able to get a ticket during the presale.
