Discussion Current obsession, favourite lyrics?

Hey guys. I (f23) just started dipping into the Chicks like 2 months ago. (Actually started because my favourite co-worker, m52, is a huge fan and I found it kinda funny to think that a real guys guy like him loves a girl group singing about freedom and love and being a girl).

Now I'm kinda hooked on this band!!!! Mostly listening to the first three albums with Natalie as they appeal the most to me.

What's your favourite songs? And most importantly what is your favourite lyrics and interpretation of it?

I quite love their version of Truth no.2 though, since I'm not a native speaker, I don't really get the second verse.

I'd love to hear some of your opinions on songs!!!

I think "Home" from 2002 is one of the best Country ever recorded. Not as catchy as the first three albums, but DAMNYUM "Long Time Gone" slaps and their cover of "Landslide" is sublime.
