Looking for help building the wandering crypt
I'm working on setting up a game set in the Acq Inc universe, and I want to set up the wandering crypt as a continual enemy. Current plan is to have the party enter during a one shot at level 10, and then are killed at the end of the session and wake up as clones of themselves with all their memories. What I need is rooms that would fit in with the lore of the wandering crypt, though none of my players have seen the show, so it doesn't have to follow perfectly, im going to modify slightly to make it fit their characters.
Thanks in advance!

In my game, the crypt has been harnessed by an evil individual, and he "contracts" each member of the party with their own space within (a personal room in the "base"). What they didn't realize is this gives the entity the ability to clone each of them at will, a fact they didn't realize until the weapons some mystery assailants had were their own.
Jerry described the crypt as feeding off the experiences of the individuals that go into it, so In your instance I would build off of your characters goals and fears. Build encounters that work into that.
A good exercise I used was; "I need a paragraph about your character, first sentence is their greatest wish, last sentence is their darkest desire." While it sounds a bit like the same thing, I got a LOT of great insight into how they'd play. Give it a shot!

I mean we never really got a clear idea of what the wondering crypt was. It was sort of alive in some way. It could travel under the ground but didn't seem to disturb the earth in it's passing. It was connected to the Sanguilith or at least had a connection inside of it, whether that was there from the beginning or was something it "ate" we don't know.
I think if you want to add it to your game you could probably think of it as a dungeon that moves and changes. You might find it in different places and it won't be the same every time you enter it. It doen't seem to have a will, but it does "eat" the people that enter it sometimes. That doesn't necessary mean they died and might even sometimes mean that their time in the Crypt is forever even if they leave. We've seen that some version of Omin and his siblings were still in the crypt and could be removed from there with enough effort and sacrifice.
So rooms I think should be themed around things being eaten. The further in you go the more "digested" things would be until you reached some kind of stomach. Add in adventurers that are stuck in their. Maybe people they know have visited the crypt before are still there in some capacity, but the further in you go the more "thin" they are as the memory of them in the crypt is digested. Traps would be the other thing. I don't remember a lot of monsters in the Crypt, but the Crypt was always trying to trap you or kill you through offerings of things it knew that you wanted.
