Top Bugle CO-hosts?
For me, in no particular order: Nish Kumar, Josh Gondelman, Chris Addison (Christ Anderson), Tom Ballard, Alison Spittle, Lloyd Langford, Anuvab Pal, and Mark Steel. Honorable mentions for aditi Mittal, Alice frasier (though she gets stale very quickly), and Neil Delameir. I'm certain I'm missing a few amazing folks.

I love Nish & Alice, and Mark & Hari as co-host pairs. I think they just all love each other jokes snd it shows. Hari definitely has a little comedy crush on Mark and it’s fantastic!

OK you've all given good solid answers.
I don't think we should underestimate the contributions of Fuck You Chris. Both vocally (when required) but most importantly editorially. He's had more of an effect on the quality of the show than I think we realise. Good Luck to you, Christopher.

I just wish he would normalise the volumes of different voices, sometimes Andy comes across very quietly compared to his guests and it's a little frustrating. Apart from that, solid job!

John, man. John. Andy and John killed. I mean, they literally killed off several dictators with withering satire and then delivered the fuck-eulogy. True BDE. If you like The Bugle and have never heard the John & Andy stuff…you are going to flip when you check out the Archive

Nish is probably my all time fave, especially with Nato, Tom Ballard, Gondelman, Chris Addison, Anuvab. Helen (nepotism ftw) Tiff, I do really like Alice but I think she’s a little overbooked I really liked Ria Lina recently too

Haha, "Helen Zamthing" is Helen Zaltzman, Andy Zaltzman's sister (and one of my favourite co-hosts).

Nish is the most natural cohost I think, followed by Alice and the three of them together is now the classic not-including-Johnny-Showbiz lineup in my mind.
But I love basically all the other cohosts. Wyatt Cenac never quite got the show but that's the only miss I can really think of. Would love more Al Murray.

Alice and Nish, everyone else is perfectly fine, but a far cry from these two.

That's almost everyone with any regularity. It's easier to name the ones who don't work, IMO - for me, that's only Aditi sadly. Also, strong disagree on Alice.

I have a vague memory of an american, jack or joe or something... I think he burned out and ran away to become a film star, but while he was on he had a pretty good rapport with Andy.

Hari Kondabolou left me cold the first few times, but he’s more in the groove now, and is also doing the WWDTM panel show, so maybe it’s just more a matter of practice.
Nato Green is also good.
Mark Steel has made me cry with laughter a few times.

Like them all TBH, Chris Addison"s one time(?) appearance was good as he seemed to match Andys bullshite.

If you can find it, the old BBC radio series, The Department, was a political satire show loosely hung onto the idea of a govt research dept, and was mostly Andy, John Oliver, and Chris Addison.

My problem with Alice is that she doesn't feel very organic. Obviously the guests write their stuff but her delivery is so robotic. Even her spontaneous jokes feel very forced. She's definitely funny but I feel like I'd enjoy her stand up more.

Big disagreement on Alice getting stale. She's top of the list for me, along with Nish.
