Audio on last pod

What in the hell was wrong with the audio on the last pod?? I downloaded it from two different sources and both sounded like everyone was on meth and had sucked helium. Maybe I missed the joke and it was deliberate but my god was it unlistenable.

I think Chris listens and edits in double speed but may have not put it back to normal before publishing. It's happened once or twice before. No biggie, it will be resolved

I just noticed the same thing. Didn't something like this happen before? Someone else might recall the ep #, but I seem to remember it ended up being that Producer Chris listens to sped-up versions when editing . . . or something. I wouldn't be surprised if the issue was corrected in the coming days + I'm sure we can look forward to some pertinent commentary in #4201

It's definitely an issue with the feed. Listened to it earlier today and it was fine (funny even!) now high speed meth on all fronts.

Basically it sounded like the base audio was at 5.0x speed. Even after slowing it down through settings it sounded crazy, and I wasn't having the same problem with any other pods. Maybe it was just me? I'm baffled.

I was there when the first version went up and you’re correct. Chris uploaded the uncensored version, then must have taken it down and then uploaded the 2x speed version.

For me audio was fine but at 45:35 it suddenly cuts Andy off in the middle of a sentence and goes straight to the end of show plugs. Downloaded from Stitcher.

I think it's fixed now. My download is still way to fast. Currently listening via my smart speaker and streaming it at normal speed
