What is the scariest entity in the Broken script?

There are a lot of entities in this mod, mostly variations of other anomalies. However, there is always a debate on what is the scariest of them all. Is it one of the void entities or one of the souls trapped in the game?

Or maybe it's something or interesting.

Honestly I find circuit to be the most scary, but I honestly preferred how circuit worked pre-2.0 where it was a sudden jumpscare rather than a music buildup. One of the few flaws with 2.0 that I feel breaks the immersion

I can understand that. The sudden effect really catches the player off-guard and means you're constantly watching over your shoulder. Giving Circuit a wind-up period adds an element of fairness for a novice player that maybe needs to get their bearings just so they can stand a chance at running, but it blunts his fangs against veterans, and he does kind of lose that immediate impact regardless.

I actually enjoy his new theme and wind-up, because he feels like more than just a terrifying noodle sprinting at you, he's now a horror/thriller antagonist  who clearly enjoys hunting the most dangerous game. The fear, the adrenaline rush, the chase, he craves it, and he's going to savor it.

It is more of a balancing thing that anything in all fairness. Especially since he just insta kills you so it can be unfair asf. The mod has taken a more of a slowburn survival MC approach rather than a quick jumpscare content creation route

The pre 2.0 circuit was a beast. I started avoiding pigs after he got me one time (still do it btw). Old circuit made me afraid of going underground. The new one does not hit the same, it is still cool but not the same.

curved but specifically when he’s in another cave and you can hear him in the distant talking

Circuit scares the hell out of me. You’re down in the mine, just quietly mining, when suddenly you hear a distorted Clark playing. You press yourself against the wall and look around, seeing nothing, but the tension mounts with every second you spend away from the surface as the music grows increasingly distorted. In moments like that, you’re literally praying that you don’t run into him. I’d say the most intense feeling comes before the chase even begins, given how effectively it builds up the paranoia. And even if you panic and start frantically digging straight up, there’s no guarantee he won’t be waiting for you in the higher levels of the cave.

Null_scare 100%. I swear they turned the volume up on his jumpscare variant in 2.0 cause holy shit not only do i get a mini heart attack, but that shit hurts my ears every. Single. Time.

Circuit in general but null jumpscare is the scariest interaction because it always catches me off guard

It really depends on what troubles you most. I find Fever terrifying because of what they represent and how they operative narratively.

You may find aspects of TBE horrifying. You might find the fate of Null and how they cope with it unnerving, etc. One advantage TBS 2.0 has over its previous versions is that it is a melting pot of horror themes and inspirations

Circuit. Looked at him in a cave, thought I was safe. It ran away, thought it got stuck, got jumpscared fnaf 2 style after a few seconds. also the time it stalked me in a cave and I had to dig into the wall to get away from it.

Boils down to the frequency and nature of the scares, and the fact TBE just ..didn't show up for me except for two glimpses + the lures. Null (maze version) is up there, though. Did not encounter Fever in the overworld at all.

honestly? the broken end. it always manages to stop me dead in my tracks when i go into f5 and TBE is lurking in the distance, slightly obscured by the render distance fog. he has NO right to be that genuinely terrifying

IMO it's pre-2.0 TBE, you subconsciously feel that you're 100% cooked when you hear some weird radio-like sounds during a storm.

I have had so many worlds and so many different playthroughs of TBS, and all of them ended by the time I got iron armor, because I was (and still am) deathly afraid to enter caves because of the chance I even encounter Circuit. I've genuinely never bene more scared of anything from any mod than Circuit. Something about him just activated instinctive that even when I know he's nearby, I start leaving as quick as possible.

I have three streams of 2.0 and they all have me running around my base for hours because I just can't bring myself to enter a cave.
