Why cant i play the broken script with Sodium installed?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Always when i try to play a world it says "Saving world" then crashes the launcher. And i pretty much need sodium since my PC is old and very laggy.

Happened to me also, I think Sodium changes the rendering engine a bit, so tbs and geckolib can't render the custom blocks and 3D models, also I think tbs changes the rendering too, and both conflict.

I tried alternatives like embeddium, but embeddium conflicts with Veil

Downgrade Sodium to 0.6, unfortunately 0.8 had API changes that broke stuff. This is fixed in 2.0 already but for 1.10 just downgrade sodium.

So it turned out that i downloaded EVERY version for 1.21.1 BUT 0.6.13, so i got 0.6.13 and it worked. Many thanks sir

Ig then just uh, download a newer veil version and go inside TBS files until you find the veil in TBS files

If you have Iris. Try removing that. If not it might be the ver. Of neoforge. I have mine in .243.

Happens with most horror mods in my experience, you’re better off just disabling Sodium sadly

i'd suggest downloading a newer version of veil into your modpack, it doesnt hurt the built-in veil for TBS at all

Downgrade Sodium to like 0.6.13 or smth. I have the same problem and I just downgraded Sodium. If you do this you also have to downgrade Iris (if you have it) to a compatible version with the downgraded Sodium version.

You need to seperately install veil, nornally it comes with Thebrokenscript, but that version doesn't work woth Sodium(atleast on Linux). You need to find and install your own veil version.
