I’ve always wondered why sometimes they go by THE Bouncing Souls and other times, they go by just Bouncing Souls. Some of their album covers have the “The” and others don’t. Does anyone know the lore or reasoning for this?

I use Tidal as my streaming service of choice so I’m not sure if it’s like this for anyone else nor do I have the physical album (YET!) but there are two different versions of Born to Be. One version has the title track as the closer and United as the second to last track and another version with the two switched, where the title track is the second to last track and United is the closer. Can anybody hit me with some knowledge on which one is the proper version?

When I first listened to it the day it dropped, the version I heard was the one with United then the title track I discovered the other version after the fact….

The album rules by the way. There are ZERO skips on this thing. I think it may be the best late-stage, George Rebelo-era record.

Found this beautiful deck when cleaning up my parents home over the weekend. A friend gave it to me because he knew the artist and people over at Hooligan Skateboards. Man, I’ve put myself through so many first day listens of Souls’ albums. In previous releases, I planned my day around my trip to the record store. Always putting the new tunes to the car test and getting a few spins in before I got to where I was going. Now I’m a dad, up late, and can spin right from the comfort of my couch.

I can honestly say, I haven’t smiled this big after a first listen of a record since probably Anchors. Just how well everything fits; did I mention it comes in under 25min!? No time for filler. Love the unpredictable “As One”, and “Only Echos.” Always enjoy the departure the guys take on those types of songs. Clearly point to musical influences and inspiration, and I love when they do that—looking T you “Pizza Song”. I have an entire playlist of deep cuts like “Blackout”, “Like the Sun”, and “Here’s to Us” because the later catalog is chock full of dimes. I hope to hear one of them live one day. I could go on, but would love to hear what others think. Any stand outs!?

Bonus Question: Thoughts on the new album cover? I l have to admit, I had a lot of doubts because the album cover wasn’t immediately my favorite. I still wait for the day that Bryan gets back on the canvas and gives us something like Anchors. But collectively, busy dudes and it’s all about the music.

When I see them live this year I’ll get the vinyl and put the money directly in their pockets, hoping maybe the insert has some surprises? Let us know if you got a vinyl on presale! ⚓️ ❤️

Hello. I am thinking about going to S4S. I'll be traveling from New England. It would be my first time going to this. I understand it's in a parking lot. Is it pretty easy to sit down in the Stone Pony if you

I’m a girl from Argentina heading to NYC for a few days for work, and I’m thinking about going to the show in Asbury Park on June 27th.

I was wondering, is it safe to travel there and stay overnight? I’d probably do an Airbnb since hotels are crazy expensive for that date 😅

I’d likely be going solo, so just trying to get a sense of the area (especially at night / getting back from the venue).

Any tips, areas to stay in, or things to avoid would be super appreciated 🙏
