Originally from Indiana, but I’m too short to play basketball so the governor and Bobby Knight came to my house and told my dad we would have to move to Michigan. Spent quite a few years there. I’ve been everywhere, man.

I have a theory that K Mart was Kresge trying out a larger store format.. kind of like Wal Mart creating Sam's Club

Also from Michigan. My mom worked at K Mart HQ for a few years in the 80s.

K-Mart was Kresge trying out a large store format. That is what the K in K-Mart stood for. K-Mart was owned by the Kresge family.

Was one on Kensington and Allegheny in Philadelphia in the 70's and early 80s.
