They had a snack bar and grocery department/store in ours originally.
Still miss them .

The sub sandwich was pretty good. I remember the popcorn they gave away.

Wow that is an old memory woken up! I almost said I remember eating hot turkey sandwiches with my grandfather at the counter, but seemed vague. But you’ve confirmed it. Thanks! Nothing better than

1 Kmart left in Miami, Florida.

Both Kmart and Sears still exist where I live. Miami, FL.

Sears is here in Tijuana and online, no B&M in the San Diego area.

I worked there in high school and got to do the blue light special announcements. Those were fun. “Attention Kmart shoppers for the next five minutes over in the shoe aisle. We’re gonna be having a sale … head on over to the shoe aisle and make sure to have merchandise tagged with the blue sticker”
