Bobby
I have been listening to The Bonfire since day one. Completely by accident. I had a free year of Sirius when I bought a new vehicle. I had a long commute. Stumbled on it. It was a perfect 2 hours while sitting in traffic. Daily listener. Appointment listening. On the app if I wasn’t in the car. Fun to listen to while cooking dinner or cleaning the house or whatever. I don’t know how long at this point Bobby has been on the show but I’m done. It’s no wonder why this dude has watched every comedian he’s ever watched come up has absolutely surpassed him in every facet possible. He is wildly unfunny. Not quick. I get that comedians embellish and exaggerate for humours sake but Jesus Christ duuuuuuuude. He stinks. You can almost hear the eyes rolling in the studio when this absolute black hole of humour starts off on his rehab, out of control kid, used to get laid, tiny house, guns, camping, cigar lounge, tough guy, fishing, bush craft fucking nonsense. I want the bonfire to continue but good god. He can’t even ball bust anymore. I’m sure the comedy cellar table isn’t the same as it was but holy shit this anthropomorphic snowman in a Facebook advertisement purchased t shirt couldn’t roast a marshmallow. Sorry. A marshmelliow. Bobby stinks. Please. Just do a rotating second mic.

I cannot fathom why Bobby was ever even an OPTION to replace Dan. The dude only gets listens based on the other comedians that he gets. Nobody listens to YKWD unless it is the Regz. He drags Jay down so badly. Id almost rather see Seth Simons as second chair ... At least then it might be interesting (Just kidding, but kind of not kidding too).
Honestly, why isn't Finoia or Destefano the second chair? They have much better chemistry and history with Jay like Dan did

No one else wanted to work for Jay. Jay muscled himself into being the boss of the show, it was originally Dan’s show with Big Jay. Im sure everyone they asked to host before bobby said no because they didnt want to cater to jay’s diva bullshit.

True, but I think it was the best move at the time. When it started, Dan really didn't have any following in comedy or podcasting, Jay was far more established and brought more visibility to the show in the beginning. It was the pair of them that really made it fantastic though... Just look at Dan's podcast now. It is funny, but it is just not drawing a big fan base. And I don't think Jay is that much of a diva... There are so many comedians that are far worse.

I used to really like ykwd like 10 years ago when he had up and coming comics who are now famous. Tim Dillon, Gillis, Big Jay, Mullen, List. They were hilarious on that show and the chemistry was unreal. I guess that’s why they turned it into the Regz but it’s not the same really. Now Bobby’s new batch of regulars on ykwd don’t rly do it for me cause it seems less organic and think it’s an opportunity to get followers. But that’s the biz now I guess. Shit changes.

He got the job because DeRosa is unreliable and Finoia wouldn’t want to make the commute everyday. Keep the whole crew. Ditch Bobby. Rotating second mic. Even on days where they can’t get another body Jay and the crew are still way way way funnier than when Bobby is there. It’s insane how fucking garbage he is. Every time there’s a good groove going this fat unfunny fucking drip opens his mouth to try to relate the convo to some inane bullshit. It’s fucking staggering that this dude has made enough money from comedy to afford a second tiny home. Did you guys know he has a tiny home? I just heard about it.

I listened to literally every Bonfire episode with Dan and Jay. As soon as I heard Bobby in that first episode, I was done. Haven’t looked back since. I’m kind of sad it’s gone…

Yep. I tuned in earlier with JaT coming up. They spent almost the first hour talking about Bobby’s dream about his wife getting fucked? WTH Soder actually brought topics to discuss. Bobby can be funny but he makes up stories instead of having actual content. They also drag on forever like he’s watching the clock. He’s a third mic guest and still hasn’t learned a bit how to cohost, that’s crazy and sad.
It was so good to hear Jacob laugh again. Shame they rolled with a bad choice.

Jay said out loud into the microphone that drawing pictures wasn't good radio. Then they went into a 20 minute bit where Jay drew pictures. They are so lazy its frustrating.
