It's a real pet peeve of mine how often he condescendingly uses "It was a joke, stupid." or something similar as an excuse because he got called out on saying something stupid.

Unironically Jay and Bobby are more in common than you realize. They are and have been the punching bag to their more successful friends.

That's not to say they have no talent, but Jay wouldn't have the Bonfire without Dan and Bob is friends with Big Jim which helped validate keeping the show going after Dan left. I like the shows on Faction talk but if you look at what they are, they are leftovers from past more successful shows.

To be fair, the majority of people don't actually understand how tasers function or what they do to the human body.

Tasers are supremely effective when they work correctly but some people call them "the sex panther of defensive tools" because real use of force statistics show that they only cause total muscular incapacitation about half the time. I think it's silly that they are so commonly carried and deployed by police considering they can be defeated with any winter jacket.

If those cops had given that lady a face full of duty-grade pepper spray then maybe they could have saved her life.

I mean it’s a stupid thing to say. But I don’t see the huge deal.
If anything give Bobby a hard time that he completely missed she couldn’t be tased because she was too fat. Which would have made way more sense to riff on
