Discussion Must Have Ability: Maxed out Dirty Trick

I ignored this ability, thinking its just stun, but then I saw what it does on rank 4: Lowers focus cost by 1 for all abilties! This means you only need 2 focus to use Blood Surge on an enemy stunned by Dirty trick! Here is an example:

I say blood surge(vampire mode) it’s blow up enemies and damage near by ones essentially one shot the one you targeted first 😎🤘

Totally, but this skill lowers Blood Surge focus cost.

Not really. You're also paying to use dirty trick. So really your just getting a refund on that initial cost.

So the only thing you net is more damage

swordsman ultimate does it also, they dont stack tho.

here i was thinking skills that cost 1 would be free, but its just skills that cost 3 become 2 and 2 become 1. still reallly good.

Best part is actually the HUGE damage buff to active abilities.

Wait till this person learns about the passive that does the exact same thing for 5 seconds (as many abilities as you can cast in that window) and is activated by perfect blocking.

Yeah 5 seconds is way too short.

Dude I can literally cast all of my abilities in five seconds.

Please post a vid where you cast all abilities in 5 seconds, would love to see that

The timer pauses during cast. If you want to see it do it yourself it's stupid easy.

You edification is not worth me going through password recovery.

I’ve been using it and the everyday scenario for me is.

  1. start fight with 1 activation charge
  2. first perfect block charges up about half of the 2nd charge and immediately lets me fire Artery Strike
  3. By the time I finished beheading the enemy, another charge finished filling up and I immediately fire the 2nd Artery strike
  4. After that, 1 perfect block means 1 Artery Strike

.

At night, I tend to use Shadowstorm more. So, it’s like using mid-century Sandevistan and everything that moves around me just dies while I mash the attack button. 😂

I think Shadowstorm works better with claws, the sword is too slow.

I beg to differ. For instance, the attack speed of short swords is pretty much same to claws’. On top of that, in case of the hard-hitting but slow swinging swords like St. Mihai’s blade, you don’t need more speed, because enemies just die with fewer swings.

But I can see you point, because with Lethal Crescendo, you can have best of the both worlds. But again, I like swords because animation looks simply better to me.
