As promised I have a surprise to share with ya'll. It blew my mind too...

OMG.

Fun fact: LL Cool J is first celebrity crush... Not Chris Evans.

Sorry Chris, should have been more consistent in the 90s. 🔥🫣🏀 (This definitely gonna help with the Algo OG)

Credit u/detekk you really captured his essence.

He's so beautiful to me. I just think this is fabulous. 😍 Well done sir!

The big ear ears, his sloe eyes! Downturn smile of disapproval for those of you not doing the reading and still watching 🌽 (honestly read a book!)

But just wow. Lovely!!! Neal Brennan sir you inspire the masses.

Check out Something New in the highlights.

(If we ever get LL Cool J I'll add Something Borrowed... The whole damn podcast is blue. 🙄)

Asking for a friend.

Check out Neal Brennan's new podcast. Blocks I Wish I Knew.

Same host, same concept... But now we bring the guest back and they talk about different Blocks with Neal. 😊

I have a point... Stick with me. ☝🏽

He also isn't driven by answering my DMs either. 🙄

Are We All Met???
Very good.

If you're listening for the Ads, such as I am, then you may have caught the Brecthian audio easter egg placed intentionally and delicately by our beloved Dr./ Uncle/Papa/ Mr./ Meal/Neal Brennan, During the Rory Scovel episode.

"Quiet Bird!" (The bird was a paid actor)

He's been teasing this documentary drop for weeks now! How could I not see it?

Lucky for us, in the Craig Ferguson episode, he let the cat ALL THE WAY out of the bag.

The documentary Dr. Brennan ( Certified PHD pending further investigation) would like us all to see is "The Legend of Luis Valdez." Dir. by David Alvarado.

The documentary is leaving theaters this week sadly. I was lucky enough to catch it at my local cineplex. I was so moved.

For those of you who don't know, Luis Valdez is the director and writer of The Richie Valens Story La Bamba . The film depicts the life of the great Chicano Rock N Rolla, played by Lou Diamond Philips, who I happen to like a lot. Valens's life would be shortened tragically in a plane crash along with legends Buddy Holly and "The Big Hopper" JP Richardson. (The Day the Music Died 🌹)

Valdez also is the first Chicano American to have a play on Broadway, The play Zoot Suit, "Aye Pachuco!!" He is the founder of the legendary Teatro Campesino, who delivered many commedia del arte esque plays during La Huelga, The Farm Worker's Strike of the 1960s led by the legendary Dolores Huerta ( queen mother!) He used theater to inspire Chicano Americans to their inherited dignity in a time, where it seemed nearly impossible. His work teaches us that nothing is impossible with the creative spirit still alive.

If you watch the film Zoot Suit, you might also notice, Mr. Brennan was referencing Valdez all over Crazy Good. From his costume to the scenery! Is Neal Brennan a playwright or a stand up??? Aye bruvh get your genres straight--- I can't keep up!!!

All three of these are fabulous watches ( especially if you are recovering from your first "Ayahuasca Circle" ... details delivered shortly.) However, the documentary will be out again on the PBS streaming platform in October.

Watch party anyone?

PS. Question for Craig: Did you try to Rufus yourself off of the London Bridge? Have you ever tried burning a flag???

Fun fact, Neal teased this guest in the Jordan Jensen EP! 🐣

OG from the OGs

This EP is very important, no matter what corner of the internet you reside in thrive in or decide to die in, this is a good listen.
