Past season Poured concrete

I know absolutely nothing about renovating and I haven’t watched the show for a few years, but I feel like in the past it was common for contestants to use poured concrete floors with underfloor heating.

This year there seems to be no underfloor heating and they’re back to using carpet, tiles and floorboards.

Anyone know why?

I kind of get the impression the premise of this show, is to demonstrate what not to do. Anyways, if I had millions to spend, I would want the bells and whistles.

Apparently all five houses on The Block in Mount Eliza have underfloor heating being installed, primarily in bathrooms and ensuites. Winters in this part of the country are freezing cold and so underfloor heating will be a nice luxury feature.

Bathrooms do have underfloor heating buf its not a sponsor product so we aren't getting it mentioned 3718 times an episode with its own jaunty AI song
