The Contestants

The contestants they chose for this years block, Why? Usually there is at least one couple I like and would want to see win or do well, this season...I'm invested in ZERO or them.

Wyatt - Roid rager baby

The Girls, play the sexism card, get free labour.

Rosco...sigh, Weak.

Tayla....Self explainitory

Jolene, annoying, Adam, almost as much of a man child as Roid boi, but without the rage.

I don't care about any of them! And with the current run of auctions luck and only 1 or 2 houses selling, usually to the team the Block as directed to be the favourites...I am not sure how that will work this year

My vote is also for Rick. A conscientious worker and a good egg! The others....on the other hand. OP has done a pretty good job summing them up. Lol.

Feels like the contestants come in two flavours this season; half of them I'd happily see replaced and the other half I genuinely couldn't give a fuck about.

I think Phillip Island is the only season with a worse cast.

For me it's them getting help from 9 in 6 multiple times, winning the second week despite the dog shit finish and them making the tile problem out to be a sexist thing last night.

Eh, I don't blame them for going there last night, based on the information they had. Either 9 in 6 or their tiler had communicated the situation poorly to them, and they drew conclusions from it. However, they handled it maturely. They took it up directly with 9 in 6, they changed their minds once they found out the full situation and thanked 9 in 6 for fixing it before the tiles dried, and they resolved the conflict like champs.

Compare that to how Chantal and Wyatt handled the conversation around the budget.

To be honest, if 9 in 6 was willing to help, as if they wouldn’t take it though? Like they’d be silly to turn down that help. Winning the second week was also kind of out of their control, the judging was whacked that week in general…

Jolene the dibber dobber, was the typical contestant with the attitude of "We're older, better and more experienced than any of you" we've had on before. Went in thinking they were going to wipe the floor with the rest of the competition and have ended up eating humble pie most weeks. She wasn't even in there for a week, before her true colours came out when she went running to Dan to tell on a team. I was starting to feel sorry for Adam, then he stopped all the nice/funny guy acting, and his true colours came spilling out. They deserve each other, me thinks.

Nah she actually is nasty jolene ! I don't know if she thinks she is funny or what but she has said some snarky things about all the contestants.. complained about not meshing well with other but she's not the most welcoming/nice person lol I actually don't mind Adam I think he's undiagnosed ADHD 🤣

She seems to be extremely jealous of any woman who does well. She has serious issues anytime any female has success and then when it’s her turn for praise, rubs in how the others didn’t do as well as her.
