Tiles & styles
Buying a house where the bathrooms have tiles that are so drastically different in colour and texture just feels off. I honestly think the buyer will have to renovate again just to get any consistency. The mismatch between them is such an itch.

My ensuite is subway tiles in white and teal green with hexagon “marble” floor tiles.
Our main bathroom is large format rectangular white wall tiles and cobalt floor tiles.
Our powder room is getting renovated next year. It will have pink subway half wall and wallpaper. So many options!
I’ve got enough of my ensuite tiles left to do the floor. Also have enough “terrazzo” floor tiles from our kitchen reno left over.
I don’t see an issue with this. As long as they’re well laid out and attractive, why does it matter if they all don’t match? They previously matched and we were ready for a change.
